For about 15 years Everton and Rangers just seemed to swap players, Jelavic, Gough, Weir, Ferguson, Ball, Naismith, Gascoigne, Kanchelskis, Arsenal, Durrant, Jeffers,
Andy Carroll should have been the starting forward for England, the offense was heavily relied on high crosses, heck all previous managers rather selected Rooney and Owen which made absolutely no sense.

I really truly wished carrol worked out for us. I think he had/has such amazing potential. I don't exactly know what went wrong at Liverpool. I think it was injuries, inconsistent match time, inconsistent goal scoring. But boy, when I watch him on a good day, he is about as unplayable as a fast small player like hazard. I became a BPL and Liverpool fan 05/06. I had never seen a strong center forward like Andy carrol. His ball winning, strength and ariel ability was unmatched. When the center backs can't fight, win a header, you know you got a weapon. We had Gerrard and players on either side of the pitch that could deliver a great ball. Maybe we had to play through that
