I started D2 2weeks ago. My first exotic armour was these gloves. So i tried making my own build around them. It was okay. I had demo on my guns and what not. Then I stumbled onto this video. I realized i was doing it all wrong. I fixed the issues but still was missing the gun and mods. So I played one game of control to test the changes i did. After that ONE game i got the Monte Carlo, and later that night i received all the mods. It was fate. Now im practicing this build and having soooo much fun. The multi kills have been a "blast" lol. Thank you for this video. It helped this noob fix his build and now im non stop chucking boom booms and having so much fun.
One HUGE perk of the exotic that I didn't hear mentioned is... Tripmines no longer damage the owner when you wear them. Edit - of course it was in the comments.
I personally like using it with travelers chosen help get all of my abilities going. This ties in with bomber and distribution on the cloak and bolstering detonation on the arms. In rowdy sixes matches, your most important cooldown is your dodge as it gives you melee, grenade, and super energy with dyno
Been trying to use this with middle tree in PVE, need better more focused armor but it’s really fun for running strikes, still need more testing in endgame activities
I did not test it in endgame activitys but it should be quite good espacially in boss fights, you throw tripmine then you throw your knives (if you hit all 3 you get tripmine completely back), throw tripmine, dodge (because of the burning target perk you can dodge all the time), throw knives. Just keep going its an endless loop if you keep hitting all 3 knives on the Boss.
Been running this for a while. You can add more damage into your loop with a Demo GL or Rocket (Such as Salvager's). Pairing it with elemental wells really rounds out the build in Explosive Wellmaker and Well of Life.
@@andrekautz1683 definitely! Explosive Wellmaker lets Salvagers and Firefly/Dragonfly spawn the Wells for ya too. So a decent Fatebringer or Hung Jury in the Kinetic keeps them consistent. Font of Wisdom is nice too, since I'll typically keep my intellect at around 30-40, and that mod basically caps your Int. Pretty synergistic build that functionally gives you max uptime on everything.
I've been running this build on my Hunter since Forsaken and there's just one thing that I'd like to add. In terms of using this build in Trials, get used to REALLY setting up the Tripmines in spots where they CAN'T be shot at. Even though it does take longer to destroy it the last thing you want to happen is you throw your grenade and the entire enemy team shoots it losing your ability entirely, if you position the grenades in spots where there's virtually no way of shooting it but if the enemy player crosses the mine they take full damage regardless of what type of movement or dodge they do, it will secure tons of kills that you otherwise wouldn't have gotten. There's still tons of tricks with Tripmines but I can't reveal all my secrets lol.
Some things to add. It's not a bigger damage range, it's the same range but always does the max 160. Also, the arms add fastball and make you immune to your tripmine's damage. Some tech. With 100 discipline the nades last almost just as long as your cooldown. And as mentioned in the vid, throwing a knife first, then a tripmine makes the throw combo much faster. Lastly, super hits count towards your needs. So when using 6shot, you can get about 4 to 5 nandes if done perfectly.
Bless you man. Stuff like this shows that you can use other exotics that are not stompees! Hunter main here, and I hate how stompees is the do all be all when it comes to hunter pvp exotics :/

ive been using young spine for as long as ive been playing a hunter, which has been since house of wolves, its always been amazing but requires either patience or good placement. honestly the best use for them has been countering shotguns or any sort of rushing gameplay style. because as long as you have a mine you can more or less promise yourself a trade, another good way to use them is with the explosive knife to block lanes off. and fun fact using the fan knives each hit counts as a 3rd of your grenade recharge, so in pve you can do tripmine, throwing knives, dodge, repeat and have a infinite damage loop as long as you have something to dodge near with gamblers dodge. i have carried many gambit matches with that since i can bank my super for shut downs or drop a bunch of boss damage all at once. tldr: the gloves are amazing play around with them.

Trying this out now and I swear my tripkines are not exploding around enemies… 🤷🏽♂️
Or just not doing the damage I hoped when they do. Only a few games in so will be giving it some more games to adjust.
Me, a guy who master worked this exotic for a pve build, getting ready to finally use it again for pvp
What shader is that, kinda dripped out
when I was new in destiny I used this exotic because it looked cool and didn't even use the solar subclass
Man's out here exposing my entire build 😭
remember when people said Young Ahamkara's Spine was bad, even after it got buffed?
will try this now :D thank youu
Going to try this out with middle tree!
It’s great with middle too!
