It worked!!!! After 3 months of having a bricked console I decided to try one last time after watching hundreds of videos and scrolling through many subreddits. Sony should find methods to save games and all stuff like a BackUp or something ,accidentally pulled the power cord out it’s commonly happening even the electricity shutdown happens in some countries,it has to be a solution for that not just reinstall all games again it’s painful

Just tried everything I could to fix this problem without deleting the entire software but nothing worked but thanks to you and the great instructions you gave I've been able to get my ps back working again thanks very much 👍 I can only guess why Sony have decided to make such a hard job of something that is supposed to be automatic but if it was to put people off the Ps4 and make them decide to upgrade to the next PlayStation system it has had the complete opposite effect on me.

I have literally tried EVERYTHING! Even bought a usb and downloaded the software and that didn’t work. I was on the verge of crying until I found your video. I was in complete awe about how easy and fast it fixed it. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!
I held the power button for 8 secs, heard the 2 beeps, connected and turned on my controller, and just clicked on the update software option, then clicked on the use internet option, ad it downloaded the most recent software and everything works again 😊:)

@@gradyfinley4606 Initialising your ps4 factory resets your entire system. Game data won't be lost when you put your account back on your console, but game captures, accounts, games etc will be deleted but can be brought back afterwards

I can confirm this still works in 2022 just make sure you remember your email and password for your account so you can re-download your digital games from your library.

You just fixed my PlayStatio 4 and my gamer life that's pretty much all of my life, it got fixed for me on option 6 and I recovered my PlayStation plus memberships and everything, I can't thank you enough, you are a fucking life saver buddy, just one question to get more of your knowledge, my PS4 is like 3 years old, so it's possible something like this eventually might happen again?

for me i just had to restart the ps4 so before you lose all of your stuff restart it but the video did help for the beginning
After I did the reinstall my screen showed the PS4 logo then my screen is still gray what do I do after that
