I saw y'all at BOA Alabama (I'm from hillgrove highschool) and I can truly say that this was one of if not the best highschool show I've seen to date. Congrats on 6th place and I look forward to seeing you guys next year!

Yo I'm from science hill one of y'all's rival schools and I just wanted to say I love y'all's show and good luck for next year we might be in boa and we're getting the a dci designer for our show who even designed Carolina crown 2013 which is the only year they won but great show man I enjoyed it and good luck next year
It's a Voltaire type thing, I forgot the whole of it. basically this guy falls in love with a girl but he can't be with her, so he goes to find her and has a whole like acid trip and sees these people with the heads of animals who are just messing with him. (I was in the band btw, not playing but I was a prop and one of the animal head characters)
It’s a satire on the blatant “best of all possible worlds” attitude that was prevalent in society during Voltaire’s time (he’s the author of the novel Candide). It also pokes fun at marching band in general: you have them marching around in tuxes and dresses playing serious music (evocative of an uppity and fancy night at the opera) while the animals mock them, make fun of their choreo, etc
