Not if you've become very strong. After 12 years of training, there is no strength difference between neutral or underhand grip anymore and I'm even stronger with a wide overhand grip than with a narrow underhand grip
@@Scndzr6 Only if you have a very strong back. Beginners have typically weak backs and arms that are relatively stronger. The more advanced you get, the less your arms are relatively stronger than your back and you don't benefit as much from a narrower grip or an underhand grip.
Any tips on proper scapular engagement at the top of the movement? It feels almost impossible for me to prevent shrugging at the top. When I do pull ups with my scapulae as the main focus, I feel fatigued after 3-4 reps instead of 8-10
This man is a beast 💪
So basically any kind of pullups makes you stronger. 💪
The more I watch your RUclips videos, the more I am amazed. You're truly incredible!
The strict and smooth form is oddly satisfying
His pull up form is satisfying to watch 👏🏻
Thanks for these helpful & amazing tips!!
I would add weighted slow negatives. Use a bench to get to the top position then going slooow down
I only increased my reps when I used upper Hand grip cuz its the hardest of all grips. Neutral and under Hand grip are easier cuz Bizeps is helping.

Bro one question, what do you eat? I'm vegetarian so tell me just best vegetarian food and natural 😊
I thought I heard you say to stick with the same style grip for a while and now your saying to change it every workout.
Just get a pull up bar and use it all the time. I went from 0 to 10 in a year.
For me it hang first, use assisted band, then without. Always try with band to increase reps.
In a year? I would have expected more pull ups but thats great anyways
Great! 💪🏻 From 0 to 8 in 5 mounths here 💪🏻
6'4' 7 pullups in 3.5 months
@elkhisinio I was quite overweight, at first I could barely hang on the bar. Took me 4 months for my first pull up.

What do I do about my forearms and wrists actually hurting when using weights for dips and pull-ups?
I recommend buying wrist wraps.
