    Why Arne Slot is one of the best coaches in the world:
    1. He is exceptionally strong in communication. He never underestimates any match and knows how to motivate his players before every game. He is very clear with his players and has never clashed with any of them.
    2. He ensures his team plays attacking, well-organized football. Additionally, his team rarely concedes chances due to solid defensive organization.
    3. His team is usually in better physical condition than the opponent. Consequently, Feyenoord scored many late goals, especially during their championship-winning year.
    4. He listens well to the medical staff and avoids taking unnecessary medical risks. There are relatively few injuries, and players often return quicker than expected, possibly due to their high base fitness.
    5. He masters all aspects of the profession, having also delved into nutrition and psychology, but relies on the expertise of his staff. He is intelligent and eager to learn.
    6. He takes his profession extremely seriously, leaving nothing to chance. He analyzes everything, predicts situations in matches that often come true, and trains on specific game patterns expected in upcoming matches.

    It's not the prizes he won that makes him the legendary coach he is for the club. We've had plenty of coaches that won even more prizes before.
    However, Slot is different because he completely transformed the club. Feyenoord was and has been in tough times for many years. We snuck in a championship in 2016 but even that was with football that was an absolute eyesore to watch. Slot lost all of his star players here, brought in new ones and made them into potential superstars. And he continued to do that year after year, despite us always losing the players that have grown to be stars.
    Feyenoord went from a club in trouble to once more a staple in the top of the Netherlands, and even a threat in Europe. And all of that while playing football that is enjoyable to watch. I reckon it's the dream of any club to not only play in the top, but also play football for which you can sit down and just smile as you watch.
    He will succeed at Liverpool, even if it may take a bit to get used to things. Have faith in this man, Liverpool fans. I'll be following him too.

    Frankly, I guess that the main reason he stayed at Feyenoord instead of moving to Spurs last Summer is that he is very ambitious. He wants to move to a club that can win the PL immediately. In his first season at AZ, a small club in the Eredivisie, he challenged the reigning champion Ajax. AZ became 2nd when the Dutch FA, KNVB, decided to stop the league due to Covid and Ajax was appointed champion instead. He will want to win the PL in his 1st season as head coach of LFC.

    Coz he's gonna need it.

      @SigmundAnschutz Месяц назад +1

      I'm a Liverpool supporter, born bred and resident in the city all my life and fail to see how Slot remotely "fits". Its for Arne Slot to convince me, not the other way round. Slot is here because he is cheap, like our owners, FSG.

    • @CCcranelife
      @CCcranelife Месяц назад

      @@SigmundAnschutz Fair enough, mate.
      I was thinking that his positives are that he gets results with a low budget; doesn't seem to have a big ego and bad attitude that could cause rifts; gets the best out of his players that might not be the best. But I'm no expert.

    • @SigmundAnschutz
      @SigmundAnschutz Месяц назад

      @@CCcranelife I suppose there has to be some positives. I'm just struggling to find how his appointment is positive for the supporters, who are already sick and tired of our cheap penny pinching owners. Jürgens biggest achievement was keeping the support happy even during losses. Slot has no chance of doing that. None.

    • @CCcranelife
      @CCcranelife Месяц назад

      @@SigmundAnschutz None? That sounds quite definite and factual. How do you know that to be true?
      We just have to be positive with what we have. I must admit, I'm not excited, but am hopeful and positive. If it doesn't work, hopefully they'll learn from it.
      FSG successfully bought into the famous Sabermatics approach of analysis with their baseball. Let's hope, if they use it with football, that it works.

    • @SigmundAnschutz
      @SigmundAnschutz Месяц назад

      @@CCcranelifei can't see any positives, aside from my personally saving cash, as i won't be going to the game or paying to watch it under Slot. I'll listen to it for free. I won't be buying any merch either. If FSG are cost cutting, then so am I.
      Like everyone else, I hadn't even heard of Slot three weeks ago. And there was good reason for that. We've had FSG here for 14 years, and moneyball (sabtemetrics)has been proven in that time to offer no particular competitive advantage in English football. All the clubs use it.
      I'm a realist, and under Slot see no reason why we won't slip out of the top 4 as we did when FSG hired the last cheap manager, Brendan Rodgers.
      Also, with Newcastle, Villa and United now receiving fresh investment, and FSG failing to secure any, i don't see how hope and positivity can compensate for reality.

    Let's be honest if you compare villa with Tottenham there is numerous reasons for Tottenham finishing in 4th place above villa considering villa have been playing European football all season whilst spurs haven't! It was only 18 months ago that villa was 1 place above the relegation zone having only won 2 of their first 11 league games!! If you compare both teams squads villa are behind spurs when it comes to strength in depth!! Also let's not forget that not that long ago villa was playing in the championship!! That's why it's an amazing achievement for villa to be finishing in the top 4 in the Premier league qualifying for the champions league!!

    I'm ♡Albion fan, the Reds spent 3 times less than ManU/Chelsea in Klopps era but won 3 times more cups.
    ManC success was built on 115 FFP crimes.
    Without that cash doping, Pep wud not have the best squad in the world & still lost to Real Madrid & England Skipper Jude B. (As per daily mail sports pages & Sky Sports S.Warnock)
    When Fergie was boss, ManU was the richest club in the world.
    Klopp won titles & cups with a moderate budget. He literally won a cup with 7 - 10 kop kids aged 21 & under, (as per SkySports & Kelly Cates & Melissa Reddy & Stephen Warnock ) during a huge injury crisis in 2024. No boss has done that before vs a hugely expensive Chelsea team.
    Clough & Sir Alf won on tiny small club budgets.
    Compare gold to gold, not
    Gold to iron.
    Both are metals but not worth the same.
    When comparing bosses or teams, use golf type handicaps please.
    Cuz In soccer budgets matter more than coaching, its a very unfair sport. But fans become fans as kids & don't understand it as kids.
    When they grow up they can't stop supporting their little clubs, who will never be UCL winners.
    So they make the Reds thier co-favourite club. But Why LFC & not ManC?
    Well...
    1 To honour the Hillsborough 99 (or 97 or 96 depending on which way the tragic deaths were counted)
    2 Anfield is most magical field in all sports ask Rio F of ManU etc
    3 Only club to have 4 legendary bosses in Shankley - Paisley - Sir
    Kenny - Klopp. Only club were fans love bosses more than players.
    At the end of the day who stirs ur passions more?
    Who makes ur heart beat faster?
    Is it the above average looking woman wearing very expensive make up & clothes?
    Or do prefer the natural beauty who looks gorgeous with no make up?
    Do u prefer Maryln Monroe & Mila Kunis in thier pomp (Liverpool FC type beauties)
    or
    Viola Davis & Zendaya (ManC type women)?
    All 4 are top actresses but who stirs ur passions.
    Do u prefer the wild heart pumping passion of Klopps teams or the cold methodical death by a 1000 cuts of Peps teams?
    Klopp is Shankley 2.0
    Arne Slot is the next Paisley 2.0
    WBA Albion are my local club who i love a lot, but its the reds who stir my passions.
    1 UCL win = 10 premier league titles
    1 EPL title = 5 FA Cups
    1 FA Cup = 5 of any other cups
    As per the Prof Haq maths formula on the B'ham University web site.
    Im glad Jurgen took semi - retirement as his health matters to all reds & small club fans from Liverpool to Amritsar & from West Bromwich to L.A & from Berlin to Buenos Aires. Quickly Get healthier Jurgen as u will win the world cup with England soon.
    Great show boys
