Those dancing Lego Kaminoans are iconic. I always chuckle at it for a short time. It's the same with those Lego Gamorrian Guards in Jabba's Palace who uses their axes as guitars. Two additional guards are shown using their axes on board Jabba's sail barge.
On your comment about kamino’s position being outside the galaxy and yet on maps being inside is because the maps are 2D while they should be 3D. Kamino is actually above the galactic plane in a dwarf galaxy as seen in AOTC but if you project it down into 2D it looks like it is inside the main galaxy.
Also interesting detail I noticed recently - Kaminoans added a head crest to a mandalorian-inspired helmet of clone armour, similar to what they male have
Having access to best cloning tech in the galaxy and not creating their own private army to prevent exactly this scenario was morbidly dumb on Kaminoan side.
Around 16:00 you're thinking 2 dimensionally. A planet can be located in that grid on the map, but be "above" the grid. The Rishi Maze is shown "above" the main galaxy in the image Ben is looking at. At least, that's my interpretation.
This beauty is the Republic Commando Remake that every Star Wars fan should see: ruclips.net/video/1YwZOKx6GNQ/видео.html and just the Kaminoan model itself: ruclips.net/video/2qCVznqgLwU/видео.html
Green eyes in kaminoan culture maybe similar to albinism or something similar to a sign of genetic reduction similar to if not technically incestous. The map that puts it inside the galaxy is top down and yeah technically speaking it should have been with the rishi maze planets.
I always find The Kaminoan species To be one of the most fascinating Species in Star Wars on their culture is unsettling, but on the other hand Let’s not forget in real life, sometimes Different cultures in different civilizations Can’t be a bit unsettling from say the outsider, but not to the civilization itself Who practice it. Ultimately, even though the Kamino’s culture is a bit unsettling At times, I think we could all agree that they didn’t deserve to have their cities blown up by the empire although at the same time one cannot help to find the irony of the end of life on Kamino as one of the main driving force on cloning for a war that hasn’t been rage since 1000 years ago, not only the empire shut down the cloning facilities But also destroy their cities and likely leading to the slow extinction of their species!
@@MetaNerdzLore Thank you 🙏 I can’t wait! - There’s a VERY old game called “Jedi Knight” (late 90s) where you start out on Nar Shada, and one is talking to you in the opening cutscene. I haven’t heard much after that.
Makes me rethink the theory about them being from the ocean(slim body for swimming and the black almond shaped eyes for seeing in dark murky water)😳🤷🏻♂️
If I had a dollar for every species that survived the Clone Wars using society driven eugenics, I'd have two dollars. It's not a lot, just weird that it happened twice.
I have serious doubts every single Kaminoian was present during the bombardment of Kamino.🤷 In my mind....they are still going to be a force to deal with. They collected huge amounts of credits during their contract with the Republic, and I frankly would not want to become enemies of a powerful cloning species.
I've never seen anything that says they went extinct. But I hope they don't become cloners again actually. Just for it being too repetitive and simple, but that most of the leadership was destroyed, all their assets seized and not their rebuilding will be in small groups with completely different context. So even if a great cloner expert wanted to make a community on their own, at least they will be more spread out and diverse
@MetaNerdzLore from my knowledge, don't they have quite a few colonies, it's not generally stated in canon outside of the bad batch. But i'm pretty sure i've read a few legends comics that d the state that they had quite a few colonies on worlds near the outer rib, to slightly near the outer rim in wild space
I think it also puts into question whether or not they can actually reproduce on their own, because they have reverted to cloning to restate their population. Because of their mentality they may have taken the ability to reproduce out of themselves, and if they were able to reproduce, wouldn't it be like kryptonians. Because in DC, kryptonians are also highly smart and really don't have many known moral obligations, but because they became so advanced, they no longer take the act of physically producing, because they find the act disgusting
but i do know a kaminoan Jedi which in legends sacrificed himself to disarm the Relic of Shaa, a superweapon capable of unleashing a super destructive burst of force energy while its appearance is a small statue
I think you missed something in there: Boro Vio, only seen on Bad Batch. I don't think that there's really much lore written about it, but it's clearly some kind of failed offworld Kaminoan colony with floating cities like on Bespin. It's clearly some kind of sign that Kamino has been under some kind of cultural decline for a while. Attempts to expand outward abandoned.
Asit tal-eb. It is to be. That's my stance on kaminoans. Their order is their nature, and have maintained their order throughout the galactic chaos of imposing such command on others. Same as the Hutt conquest of their section of space.
Plot twist: The Kaminoans weren't actually force sensitive, they are just slowly implementing controlled jedi genetics into their genome to give themselves the ability overtime. May not be prominent now, but whose to say in a few thousand years if all Kaminoans wouldn't be force sensitives?

I agree but also sadly realistic
I've always went back and forth on what I feel about the kaminoans. This video helped me decide
what did you decide

Kal Skirata had the right idea about the fish bait
Considering how he first met the Null Class ARCs I would hardly be surprised if he hated them all from that point on
This is so cool this is my favorite planet and I didn't know a lot of this stuff
Writing a comic rn and you have no idea how helpful this is, if it ever comes out im leaving a mention of you

Do one about the Grans next, or the Rodians. Both of their languages sound so cool, and I can barely find any footage of them speaking.
He already did an episode about rodians
gran will have to be coming soon

Please talk about genoians
13:12 after the fall of the galactic republic to the rebel alliance?
2:11 Melkor? Like Morgoth? Like the first dark lord of Middle-Earth?
i think kamino is like above the galaxy or something
I know this is late but what ever happened to the sith fury class interceptor video it was one of good take on it
More species!!
Can you do a complete life of legends Luke Skywalker and a species breakdown of the Yuuzon vong please
Can u do the VCX 820 freighter PLEASE ! I love ur videos
Wait…. There was a kaminoian Jedi? Yet the Jedi archives didn’t realize their planet was missing?
Excuse me. Aiwa, Melkor, Protoss....*geeky screams of utter rage*....whomst signed off on this particular mixing bowl???

Our eyes in certain condition can also perceive ÚV light.
Well I don't have standards, but if I saw a Kaminoan I'd say 'bet'.

I know it’s not Star Wars related, but can you do a video on the dalek species?
The longnecks were close to achieving greatness. But they made a deal with the Devil, and paid for it with their souls.
You can't say that their fate wasn't karmic.
just drain the planet of some water and send it to Tatooine
who would pay for it, its an expensive project and the ones who would benefit dont have the credits to fund it
