- This guy decided to do a magic trick for an orangutan despite the glass in between them. When the magician placed the card on the glass it magically appeared on the other side of the glass. The orangutan was amazed and grabbed hold of the card and observed it. She then tried to transfer it back to him.

This magic trick was done all in davinci resolve. Watch closely the reflection on the glass next to his hand at 0:30. This is beautiful, almost seamless editing.
So it's actually two videos: One with the card on the outside, and one with the card on the inside. And the second part was actually shot first, with the magician starting the shot with his hands on the glass and the card on the inside, and the orangutan being released into the area. Then they just wait for the orangutan to get curious and come pick up the card.
After the orangutan drops the card, that's when they shoot the second shot (which is the first part of the video) showing the magician putting another card in the exact same spot. They use a black background to hide most any reflection inconsistencies, but that split second at 0:30 right net to his hand is the only part you can catch it.
This is some brilliant editing, and a very creative magic trick (that can unfortunately never be performed live haha).
The real magician is the one who has a wand.

Trick explanation (since very few seem to be curious about how it was done): Between 0:31 and 0:33, if you slow the video down to 0.25x, you can see the card reflected inside the sleeve of the man's shirt as he withdraws his hand. If you're using a PC, you can pause the video and move frame by frame using the , and . keys.
So it's clear that the card is withdrawn on the outside the glass. Then how does it get inside? This is apparently done through an editing trick, which can be easily revealed if you're using a PC. Slow down the video to 0.25x, then pause exactly at the 0:28 mark. Now if you use the j and l keys, you can skip backward and forward by 1 second each.
While alternately pressing the j and k key at a slow speed, look at the reflection in the upper left region, directly above the green thingy. You'll notice it abruptly "jumps" and slightly changes position, indicating that 2 *DIFFERENT* videos were spliced together at that point. From that point on, the second video starts with the card already stuck to the inside of the glass. All in all, a good trick accomplished through the "magic" of video editing.

@@Pixillious I don’t think that’s the case here. If the video was cut the orangutan probably wouldn’t be in the same spot and the reflections in the glass don’t seem to change either.

I saw this trick performed in person standing about 10 ft away with no cameras used. Obviously its not going through glass but Im baffled as to how its done.
EDIT: looks like the person I was originally responding to deleted their comment who suggested they used a camera trick where right side recorded first then the left and right are joined in editing to give illusion the magician and orangatan are interreacting. Thats a technique that could work but doubtful it was used here.

im not sure if their happy or not - they do have more room than dairy cows and cows need a lot of walking and also stimulus cause they are much smarter than people think - theres a nice video called "smart cows" showing they are much much smarter than people think (also resarches about it show they are very intelligent)
so i think if its ok for cows to be in smaller spaces like there are on 99% of dairy farms (also in organic ones) than it shouldnt be that bad for orangutans

Trick explanation (since very few seem to be curious about how it was done): Between 0:31 and 0:33, if you slow the video down to 0.25x, you can see the card reflected inside the sleeve of the man's shirt as he withdraws his hand. If you're using a PC, you can pause the video and move frame by frame using the , and . keys.
So it's clear that the card is withdrawn on the outside the glass. Then how does it get inside? This is apparently done through an editing trick, which can be easily revealed if you're using a PC. Slow down the video to 0.25x, then pause exactly at the 0:28 mark. Now if you use the j and l keys, you can skip backward and forward by 1 second each.
While alternately pressing the j and k key at a slow speed, look at the reflection in the upper left region, directly above the green thingy. You'll notice it abruptly "jumps" and slightly changes position, indicating that 2 *DIFFERENT* videos were spliced together at that point. From that point on, the second video starts with the card already stuck to the inside of the glass. All in all, a good trick accomplished through the "magic" of video editing.

In one of the early books he was involved in a magical accident which turned him to an Orangutan, and he decided he liked being able to climb book-shelves etc. so he stayed that way.
