What To Expect When You Visit Someone In Prison

Prison visits vary by institution type, state, region, and even facility. Since the covid-19 pandemic arrived, many facilities have new rules. Natosha offers general advice that is common among various institutions during non-pandemic times.
If you’re planning to visit a loved one in prison, please contact the facility and do your research on their visitation rules.
Natosha Veals’ husband, Jabari Akil Veals, has been in prison since 2007 on drug charges. While inside, Jabari became a paralegal and earned a certification in HVAC repair. Natosha has one more year of nursing school before she graduates. Both eagerly await his release.
