They did reference the Digital Show, but indicated that he broke out in China during The Singer.
@@cynthiabruce-marzenska5024 But they may have gotten confused and thought _this_ was from the Chinese show. You'd think they would have realized that "Dimash Digital Show" is something different, but it's easy to not make that sort of connection, and most of what they said suggests they didn't.
Believe it or not you've only seen the very tip of an enormous iceberg. Not only do most music experts world-wide recognize Dimash as probably the greatest all-around singer/performer ever. But he is by far the most musically diverse. We're not just talking about opera, rock, pop rap, r&b. We're talking about Ukrainian folk, Chinese opera, the list is endless. He also sings in baritone, tenor, contralto, and soprano ranges, he even has a whistle register higher than Moriah Carey. You basically have 2 choices, either start reacting back in 2017 at the Chinese show "Singer" and gradually come up to date. Or you just randomly pick any performance that takes your fancy. Keep in mind Dimash continuously changes musical styles so no 2 performance are the same.
You are just scratching the surface with Dimash. When a person has a 6-7 octave range and can sing in almost every genre out there, you could react to many songs and STILL not realize all the facets of Dimash's incredible instrument. The man has been developing the voice that God gave him every day since he was 5 years old. Most of his songs are stunning masterpieces. To the extent they're not, it's because he's still developing language skills though his English has gotten much better.
A great next song to listen to is "Stranger". You think you've seen what he can do now, but you are wrong. He will continue to amaze you. You haven't seen anything yet. 😂❤

This is not the Chinese show I’m a Singer. This is his own Digital Show in 2021 during the pandemic. He gave us a complete show with more than 20 songs and SOS was one of them. I hope you continue checking his catalog. My suggestions are,

Thank you for your reaction. We Dears (what Dimash calls his fans) always appreciate watching someone new get introduced to Dimash. This was part of his Digital concert put on during the pandemic. As others have said, he began training at the age of 5, has songs in 16 languages, is a multi-instrumentalist, has a 7+ octave range, and sings in almost all genres. He is a humble, charitable, spiritual man with fan clubs in over 150 countries. His catalog is vast and varied. Anything you choose will be amazing. Enjoy the ride!

The Chinese show "I Am Singer" 2017 is the performance where he became a Superstar overnight, and he woke up the next morning with bodyguards. The story about that is funny.
I recommend watching that performance also. It was a competition of established singers, and Dimash was invited.
This performance, "Dimash Digital Show" was a few years later. Dimash gave it for his fans during the pandemic. ❤

So, this one ISN'T from the Singer. Dimash did a digital show in 2021 during Covid to stay connected to his " Dears", the name he coined for us. NO ONE compares to Dimash. You have seen NOTHING yet. This is actual tame. Btw...that info is outdated. Dimash has now sung in 15 languages, plays 7 instruments, talks 3 languages and is learning Mandarin., and sings off the piano in both directions. He ihas a masters and isnearing his doctorate in musicology. His latest modern song is When I got you. He makes beautiful music videos .His own short film , video, is One sky, which took him 3 years to write , act and produce with a fantastic message at the end. Also see the live performance he did this song. He is a very humble person and lives for peace in the world.
This performance was not from I Am a Singer in China which was back in 2017. This is his own solo digital concert in 2021 that he put on for his fans because he could not hold concerts in person due to the pandemic. He performed 18 songs and is sweating because he had performed two songs prior to this one, one of which was his own original pop composition where he did a lot of dancing. Thanks for checking out DImash and the reaction, but as the saying goes, you ain't seen nothing yet. He sings in many different registers, genres, styles, and languages. If you are willing to check out more of his stuff, to get a general sense of his versatility I'd suggest "Stranger," "Ave Maria" (a new vocalise composition, not the Schubert version) and for something completely different, his latest MV, "When I've Got You," Dimash's own composition containing blues, R&B, jazz, rock, and gospel elements.

Oh yes, Dimash can pretty much do any genre he wants and often does a few in one song. Best rabbit hole you can go into to. I found Dimash in 2017 and I listen to him every single day. Check out his latest MV, When I've Got You. Not sure who Glen Hughes is, but yeah, Dimash is the same. He may do full opera such as his recent duet with Placido Domingo, or check out his latest MV which is more like a mini movie called When I've Got You, where he is doing more of a blues R and B , rock vibe and in English. The picture you said does not look like him with the long hair is in fact him playing a vampire. Tomorrow he may rap. There is not box for Dimash.

Dimash began his classical/operatic vocal training and instrumental training at age 5. Now nearing 30 (May 24th)
he is still training. Born with perfect pitch and playing classical piano pieces by ear around age 3, he is a prodigy.
Age 4 he informed his Mama/Grandmother her piano needed tuning. She immediately enrolled him in the most prestigious
music school for youth. Most of his band and a couple of his background singers attended that same school with him so they grew up together. He trusts them.
His vocal range is well over 7 octaves and he can sing each not without hesitation or mistake. He has spent his entire life
vocalizing hours a day and then switches over to his instrument rehearsals. He is no slacker.
He came from a musical family and his parents were already fairly well known as singers, performers in Central Asia and North Central Asia when he came along. He has loved carrying around babies since his sister and brother were born and even in airports, women are handing him their babies to tote around
Dimash is 6'3" tall, Eurasian, athletic, kind, compassionate, giving, shy except when he is on stage...
He is Muslim of the Kazak type, not of the Middle Eastern type.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. As other Dears (the name Dimash gave to his fans) have mentioned, not only is this a small percentage of what he is capable of vocally, he sings his songs slightly differently each time.
