To be fair, a lot of bands do this same concept in their concerts. I've seen Steel Panther do it almost at every concert during a few songs, like 17 Girls in a Row. A band called All Time Low do it during their song Time Bomb a lot. Metallica used to do it throughout their concerts in between 2015-2016. A band called State Champs used to do it throughout their tour in begin 2017 with a song called Secrets. Not taking anything away from Volbeat, but it's been done before and probably will be done by a lot of other bands
