You should make a long version of this, explaining almost everty step. It's like a donut tutorial on more advanced features. So much creative applications. Love this and will make it! Thank you!
Pretty much what I came here to say. People who are really familiar with Blender might find an extremely thorough walkthrough a bit boring, but I think this kind of project appeals more to newer users and the step-by-step would really make this a very popular tutorial.
I enjoyed and appreciated the tutorial! You provided a quick, but very informative video which helps me add this information for projects I could do later. AND you provided the project files for a further in-depth look. You are amazing, keep up the great content and I hope to see more videos from you!
An non-manual way to create the little bubbles would be to duplicate the outer edge of the egg mesh and separate into a new object (after you have your other modifiers and shapekeys in place) and put a particle system on it with "show emitter" disabled or use geometry nodes to distribute points on the mesh.
This is cool. I'm happy to have come across your channel, because this kind of stuff is what I would like to get more into. It doesn't seem that daunting. A more detailed step-by-step on this would probably really take off.
yo dude discovered you recently and watched your art journey improvement vlog. Your journey represents so much of what I'm trying to aim for. It ain't easy trying to do both 3d and 2d
thanks, i think its best to do both 2d and 3d otherwise if you only do 3d you'll severely lack observation skills. I wouldn't have been able to make this if i didnt know 2d
@@crzyzhaa Totally agree. Though I'd like to know on average how many hours per day you train and what learning resources you used the most to get better?
@@desadebanana-zx8gc i spend almost all the free time I have on this stuff, so maybe like 8 hours a day in the summer and 4-5 hours a day during the semesters. Its a sacrifice I'm willing to make. wow thanks, this video is so good! you don't beat around the bush and i love that. seeing how skilled artists work is always so informative. also i don't get other ppl saying it's too fast or bad, like you can pause the video + these ppl don't even know how to use blender, this is obviously not meant to teach that.

Love this tutorial! Thank you for creating/sharing. Had a question, i'm looking at the project file and I see the LBS Outline Material, what node did you use to create this effect? When looking at the node structure all I see is a "Undefined" node that is connected to the material output.
Oh you can ignore that one, I didn't use it at all and deleted its nodes so idk why its in the file still. Instead look for a material called "soldifiy" it should just be a black emission shader
@@crzyzhaa Ah I see. Yeah I looked up a tutorial on how to create the black outline of the egg. Which showed how switch the material type to emission, setting to black, and then add a solidify node. I'm still struggling with getting the layering of the egg correct as well as all the cool shading of the egg, but i'll keep messing with it. Also, bought your anime ocean add on. Great stuff! Keep up the great work!
@@crzyzhaa Man I'm so close to figuring out the shading of the egg tutorial. For some reason, I can't get the egg white to show, while having the egg yolk show. Do you know how to do this? I've pretty much copied everything in the node systems.
@@beaustine6093 so basically you have to select all of the faces for the yolk part of it, then in the materials tab if you look at where it says "slot" you can add the yolk material there. Then click assign while you have the vertices for the yolk selected. Then, you can select the vertices for egg white part of it and assign the second material, which would be the white one
