I'm gonna call it a light to decent 7. The track itself embodies pretty much all of the qualities set out in the video, but something about the mixing made the keys go from crisp to painful at times. That said, the actual tone of the notes was fantastic. I would've loved to hear Anthony's bass get a bit more boost in the mix as well.
TBH, nothing novel or innovative, but rather bland and derivative. It was a song without qualities, that sounded like it could have been composed by a computer. No emotion, nothing meaningful conveyed--just a soulless combination of sounds that was equal or less than the sum of its parts. It was worse than being merely bland--it was mildly agitating, directionless, and even though it was short I couldn't wait for it to end. And the keys were too loud. P.S., Not my intention to sound overly harsh, just an honest assessment--good people sometimes make substandard art.
