- Even when adventuring with 4 girls, Ein decides that it's a good idea to lay his hands on a goddess statue right in front of them. Also feeling around in the darkness when the girls are obviously standing beside him.
I will start -re-playing Riviera soon.
and picking the page with the goddess' picture because is very artistic. truly a man of culture xD
He had more culture moments but those 2 scenes are the only ones I had (savestates) from the old days.
I was curious for this game so I searched for "Riviera gameplay" and the first results were this and some bath scenes. I already like this game
LMAO
Damn, I forgot Riviera was a game I never finished, gotta do that one of these days.
Emulate the game
Try the psp versión next, it looks gorgeous
@@andymarte7673 and don't use the japanese voice, ein sounds like he got typhoid there
you gotta try the psp version ❤ I'm loving it with the voice acting and all
@@jefinathariwirza6578I found ROM hack with English VA, but I still didn't hear girls voices, but for now, seems really good, the EIN and this blonde douchebag, and Rose have kinda good VA that match the characters
I love this game even to this day.
same
First ATLUS RPG I ever played. I was still too young at the time to properly appreciate the "culture" of the game. ^_^'
Ein Is actually an Innocent character.
The page he chose becomes a battle Item when you speak with Claude xD
[Unlike Serene's or Lina's their selection doesn't contribute to your Item collection ;yyy]
THERE'S AN OPTION OF DOING THAT?!
@@lazuardialdi2646 Yes, that Is, If you picked either Fia, Cierra or Ein's page :o
iirc, If you picked Lina's, Claude says something about a food recipe from that book's era xD
I can't remember Serene's. It was kind of Irrelevant, I think Dx
I won't say he's fully innocent though. I mean if I were in his shoes and saw Serene throwing the chest at the wall, I would move to the chest or the wall to find the switch instead of Fia's direction which has nothing to do with it..
@@thesiaoz but then that would be you, not him
@@akiradkcn
Thanks for agreeing with me that he isn't innocent.
Damn I didn't knew Ein was such man of culture, good thing senator Armstrong wasn't there.
I mean, it's indeed a very nice..... statue. Yes, a very nice statue with very nice texture :)
4:32 very artistic indeed
Oh my god a recommendation from a game I never played!
Wow how did miss all of that I could've sworn I 100 this game it was just that good sad ppl didn't appreciate this game love it
Well, yeah, underrated, but recently I saw it gain recognition in vid about good jrpg games on GBA, and rather debatable, and quite unorthodox method... PSP version was considered a freaking dating simulator... Well, dang, ain't gonna lie, they are right in some way
Considering ein is traveling with a harem and an ending for each of them ....... Its hard to not be a man of culture lol.
I realized that I was influenced by this side of Ein in terms of personality...
Damn, its been a long time...
Love this game aswell. I am kinda sad that I missed some of this parts.
This game looks kinda cool
This game is gonna be release in steam 😂
It's been a while since I last played this game, the Union subseries made me forgot Riviera was a thing.
I've always wanted to play a shitty 2000's harem anime.
The UI looks like yggdra union. Same engine/company?
They are both from the same Dept Heaven series by Sting. Technically Yggdra Union is kinda like a prequel to Riviera although you can only see bits of information relating the two as you progress in Yggdra Union.
@@thesiaoz Maybe I'll try it out. Would you recommend the psp version or the gba version? I knew Yggdra has some psp exclusive stuff like adding pamela into your party when compared to gba.
@@x3seal133
The difference between the two are just having more CGs, voiceovers and an extended chapter 8.
Although I'm not really a fan of their PSP voiceover (for me the GBA ones are more suitable for their personality), but if you want a more "complete" feel, go for PSP.
So you will be playing the GBA version huh, I'm okay with that, just one question, aside from the graphics and voice acting, what's the difference between the GBA and PSP versions?
Not much difference other than the extended chapter 8 for PSP (GBA version is a standalone boss fight) and more CGs.
👍okay I understand, still looking forward for when you play this game, I've wanted to se something new for a while, and with you playing, i know it will be fun.
@@erickbrites642 there's also an extra ending. but i don't remember how you get it
@@crisscrosszx
Both GBA and PSP have 6 endings in total. The only one that doesn't have the "spoiler" ending is the WSC version.
@@thesiaoz Also the two bath scene CGs have been redrawn to show less skin
Damn i never been here in this game
Imagine being judged by anime girls.
For the longest time while watching this the sound effects were reminding me of something but I couldn't place my finger on it. Then it hit me, it sounds just like The Gameboy original TMNT game (the footlclan one).
🙃
How old even is this game?
Slightly younger than Sacred Stones.
@@thesiaoz If it's slightly younger than Sacred Stones, did it come out late 2004 or early 2005? I know SS was 2004 but not the exact month it was released
Around twenty years old. It was originally released for the WonderSwan in Japan and the GBA version is an enhanced remake of that. It was also remade again on the PSP with smoother visuals and added voiceover.
Typical anime protagonist
