Thank you very much for this video. I like the tone of your voice. You are so calm. I am not an artist but for sure I will try to make some flowers on my painting. I registered it to look at it many more times. I am very excited. Thank you again and again.
Thank you, Chris, for turning me on to the embellishment of the painting #65 I liked. This was so interesting! As an accountant, I’m just now learning a few things about art. I’ll be coming back to this one. As to the embellishment, I can certainly see why this one sold! Wow! You do such beautiful work in so many mediums. I was hiding when God passed out those talents. 😃
Love watching you do these lovely flowers! Reminds me of sitting side by side with my grandma as she taught me how to paint. We started with watercolor then moved on to china painting. Some of my favorite memories! Sure do miss her! Thanks for sharing your talent! ❤️
Wow! Absolutely beautiful embellishing. I think the painting looks amazing in the white frame. Fantastic instructional video, so relaxing to watch and listen to you. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to really teach. I love to embellish my pours. In fact, I think I would have quit doing pours if I didn't discover embellishing. You are an inspiration. I love both your pour and brushstroke videos. Thank you!
Thank you so much, Janice! I have quit pouring many times myself, but keep returning because they make great backgrounds. I find embellished pours sell pretty well because of the unique quality of melding abstract with realism. 😘
Chris I really like that color combo together I think it's very pretty and I like both of the techniques that you did. Do more of that online so we can see when you goof up or change something because that is so helpful. I really enjoy watching you. Thanks
Wow... that was a wonderful video thank you. I did a lot of folk art about 20yrs ago but never thought to use it on my acrylic pours. Your finished piece is beautiful x
Chris, what a wonderful tutorial. You make it look easy, which of course it’s not. However I am going to practice this today! Thank you for sharing your expertise! ❤️, Pam The result of this piece is delicate and lovely
This reminds me a lot of the Donna Dewberry one stroke painting that I did years ago. Thank you very much for doing the video and for what it's worth I like the black frame better. Very pretty picture you've done and very inspirational to harken back to my one stroke days .Thanks again.
I was a rosemaler back then, certainly some very similar strokes to the one stroke method. Thanks for watching, Heather (and for your black frame vote!)!
Thank you, Patricia. A good synthetic Kolinsky (sable) is a great brush. I buy brushes from Jerry's Artarama or Blick. The size I used in the video was a size 4 in the Filbert and a 6 in the flat brush. I hope that helps!
Watching you reminds me of Donna Dewberry(Dewbury) not sure of the correct spelling, anyways thanks for the tutorial, and I just remembered I still have all her book’s omg I too can do this.....thanks for sharing😂😂😂😂
My pleasure! Yes, Donna Dewberry's one stroke! I'm sure I was influenced by her technique, though I never took her classes. I was a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and my roots are in rosemaling. 😊
Thank you very much for this video. I like the tone of your voice. You are so calm.
I am not an artist but for sure I will try to make some flowers on my painting.

I thank you so much and am going to pin your comment to the top! Have fun with it!

I love these flowers, cone flowers and asiatic lilies!! I am a gardener and know my flowers, but have not ever tried painting them! Maybe one day!
You absolutely should! Someone with flower experience would have an advantage when painting them, I would think! Give it a try!
Beautiful! I love it. I love your gentle and warm voice too!
You are so sweet, Thank you Lilian!
I love how easy you make this look.
I tried to explain and make it easy to do, but as with anything, it takes practice! Thanks for watching, my friend!
Thank you so much for doing this. As someone who has never studied art I am going to practice. Beautiful embellishment to your piece.
Wow... that was a wonderful video thank you. I did a lot of folk art about 20yrs ago but never thought to use it on my acrylic pours. Your finished piece is beautiful x

Thanks for watching, Lynn!
That is so beautiful it’s another tip stored in this old brain lol
From my old brain to yours! 😘 Thanks for watching!
Absolutely beautiful. If I could only buy one brush of each shape to make these size flowers, what size and brush material would be best for acrylic.

It turned out beautifully. But I loved the original 😢
Yep, I rewatched the original a few times and don't know why I was unhappy with it! 🤣
