@@trauma5288 Yeah, I was confused why he's stopping here. Operation Afterglow does kinda suck to be honest, but since he's gone this far he might as well finish it out. I have no idea why they set up Operation Afterglow so weird with the gaps between missions where you have to wait for hours or sleep. That would make more sense if it was the first main mission since it would give you time to explore and grind for better gear. But you generally have everything you need by the time you start Afterglow so it's just annoying and confusing for new players.
Yeah Monolith are very fucking fanatical. One guy tells a story about how they stunned one with a grenade, they all turned away from him for a single second, he bashes his head against a wall so hard it caved in his skull and died
Crazy thing is, it wasn't scripted! Something my Military and Ecologist characters found out the hard way in my sandbox playthroughs. Double tapping wounded Monolith members no matter where you find them is highly recommended.
When you press "I desire all the riches" it crashes the game because it usually gives you all items in the game and you cant throw them away so you are overloaded ofc but the game cant handle that and if you press "I want the zone to dissapear" the game does not crash, it closes itself so there you go, no more zone
@@wubblewubb8620 well it's been awhile since I've done a playthrough of the game so I don't remember most of the options. but there's one that says "I want to control the zone" or something similar to that, and if you choose that one it'll wipe every npc out of the zone except for controllers. Basically every wish for the wish granter has a dark catch to it.
This is, and always will be, a special journey. Too bad intros like the "little red riding hood" one takes forever to edit because they are absolutely wonderful. 11/10 on this series!

21:00 In case anyone is wondering, those wishes are mostly meme endings and wacky modifiers. Wishing for riches is supposed to give you one of each item in the game (Including unshielded artifacts, meaning you drop dead pretty much immediately from rad damage). I guess it's crashing the game here because it's trying to add some broken (modded?) item.
That's the good thing about Stalker Anomaly imo, is highly configurable in almost every aspect and can be very entertaining for a long time. Nice video as always Drewski.
Idk if you already knew this Drew but theres a mod for anomaly called Escape from Pripyat which you might want to look into if you want a more hardcore playthrough. It's meant to emulate Tarkov.

If you ever wanted to return to Anomaly, the Azael and Warfare modes are both really unique. The former Freaky Fridays you into some random other person in the zone to continue as, and Warfare gets all the factions to go all-out in a territory war. It's fun to see Freedom try to hold back the Monolith tide while the other factions wrest for control of their zones.
Yeah, that "Sin" thing is the second "main quest". There are 3 or 4, IIRC, each based on each of the original games, so maybe this shouldn't be the finale for the video series...
what was the UNISG campaign about again? Something-something find Strelok and beat the information out of him or choose to desert and become a free stalker?
This game is absolutely amazing, i started playing video games in 1980s and this is the game i have always dreamt about when growing up. This and flight simulators like DCS world are truly a dream come true but in the case of Anomaly, it is even totally free... The devs deserve a statue, GSC of course but the Anomaly creators as well. Great channel btw instant subscribe.
I’ve come to the conclusion that the reason this series resonated so deeply within me is because it gives off old school Frankieonpc DayZ vibes, it has that same nostalgia. I’m gonna miss this series and very well done, Drew❤️

Look at Escape From Pripyat! It's an easy to install pack for anomaly and it expands with some of the best mods... Mags, body health, better repairing/dissembling and couple more...
The UNISG Bonus Campaign is a pain, you can't get do Dead City easily through Rostok unless you have a disguise, Yantar has a Psy-Field, or you can make your way through TC but you might encounter some hard to kill mutants
Your best series yet, Drewski. Truly well done! I'd love to see you explore more of it as the story is just the beginning of how to enjoy this game. Picking a faction, turning off story mode and playing Ironman Mode is soooo much fun
We need warfare mode gameplay from you. I promise it's worth the playtime. I've had some insane experiences on there, including this time where I was invaded at night by 3 enemy factions who conspired against me. Literally all 3 factions synchronized and invaded our main base. 100+ men firefight in the middle of the night. 100k+ in loot from the aftermath. My men miraculously flanked from somewhere else and ended up killing the remaining men while I was pinned down. Will never forget it.
Crazy how the names are also in call of duty. The strelok is a stock for the AsVal and chernabog is some old demon the lore is used for cold War zombies. On die machine on the plane wing it says "Chernabog will rise"

The wish granter is the biggest troll. So the way it works is like a genie so there's always a twist to your wish, like when I said humanity needs to be controlled it fills the zone with controllers for the ultimate tinnitus experience and I imagine wishing for all the riches in the zone quite literally tries to add every item in the game to your inventory hence the crashing
I have played Stalker so many times with different mods, but this one beats them all, thanks for the series, i did start the Anomoly mod and revived the Stalker again.
1:04:14 ive been there as a merc during warfare and remember dying to an as val and the backside had an access point that had moderate cover and great peak points
I loved the series from start to finish, your approach to the game really makes it immersive. Really sad to see this end but maybe you can come back to it again in the future. Hopefully we can get a look at some more in depth gameplay coming not just from the Story perspective. Appreciate what you do. I am on day 1, Clear Sky .. I tought all others games i've player in survival mode prepared me for this Adventure..but was i wrong😅...nonetheless i really want to play the game to the end.... Hoping that Stalker 2 finally reveal Itself and continue the story..because this story Is more impressive than Fallout 4( any mod literally) . It will also usually kill you since you get all the artifacts.... which are radioactive
it crashed because he has add-ons installed. It would've worked if he didn't have any installed.

Nope, the crash is the error with code "WISH_GRANTED"

This has been my favorite play-through series in a really long time, gives me feels in a ll the right places! Loved it!

yup, there are 3 normal main quests and for the 4th quest you need to play as UNISG with story mode enabled

One of the Sin guys in the second CNPP fight was called Bes. There was a stalker by the same name in SoC, I hope that was not him.

I loved the series from start to finish, your approach to the game really makes it immersive. Really sad to see this end but maybe you can come back to it again in the future. Hopefully we can get a look at some more in depth gameplay coming not just from the Story perspective. Appreciate what you do. I have enjoyed playing this game nothing at the moment offers an experience like this.

Loved this series! And the metro series! Something about drewski and exploring apocalyptic landscapes that just go well together. As a fan who came from the arma days I can say this is one of my favorite youtube channels! And the content never disappoints, keep it up drewski I love it!

Some stalkers' combat armors looked like Artyom's from the Metro series, the protagonist of the famous FPS, so I used to confuse the two games might have had some relations.
authors of Metro game actually long time ago were in same team as devs of Stalker, and changed the concept a bit after they split.

Drew, you should absolutely to a playthrough of the "Warefare" Game mode. Still can play through the story, but your goal is taking over the zone for your faction! I think it would be an incredible watch, and I don't think I speak for only myself when I say we can't get enough of your Anomaly videos!
