- On February 26th, 2023, prior to the South Carolina women's basketball game against Georgia at the Colonial Life Arena, the team honored their senior players who had achieved an incredible feat - they were the winningest senior class in the history of South Carolina women's basketball. This group of seniors included Olivia Thompson, Zia Cooke, Aliyah Boston, Brea Beal, Laeticia Amihere, Kierra Fletcher, and Victaria Saxton.
As the seniors took the court for their final regular season home game, they were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the South Carolina program. This group of players had been instrumental in leading the team to numerous victories and championship runs during their time at the school.
Olivia Thompson, a guard from Lexington, South Carolina, had been a consistent contributor to the team, providing leadership and clutch performances when it mattered most. Zia Cooke, a guard from Toledo, Ohio, had been a standout performer since her freshman year, leading the team in scoring and earning numerous accolades along the way.
Aliyah Boston, a forward from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, had been a dominant force in the paint, leading the team in rebounding and earning recognition as one of the top players in the country. Brea Beal, a guard from Rock Island, Illinois, had been a tenacious defender and a versatile player on both ends of the court.
Laeticia Amihere, a forward from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, had been a key contributor off the bench, providing energy and athleticism to the team. Kierra Fletcher, a guard from Warren, Michigan, had been a consistent performer and a reliable scorer for the Gamecocks. Victaria Saxton, a forward from Fayetteville, North Carolina, had been a dominant presence in the post, providing strong rebounding and scoring performances.
As the South Carolina women's basketball program honored these seniors, they undoubtedly reflected on the incredible accomplishments of this group of players, who had helped lead the team to new heights and establish a winning culture that would continue to thrive in the years to come.

Hi you know I agree with you it is sad watching them as Seniors must move on that's life . Other teams are moving up to be where South Carolina is now south Carolina it's time to recruit. I am a UCONN fan giving you respect.
