Since when did not having a kickstand included on a bike become the standard, especially on a bike that costs $2,800? That's just an idiotic decision by the company, along with the projected turn signals.
this bike isnt a "my first bike" kinda bike. I just assumed that they expected us to have one... kinda like charger cables and a brick with a cell phone. I did have one so i didnt think anything of it
Thanks for this review and recommendations for accessories. My Carbon 1s arrived yesterday. I love the lightweight design and fast ride. I also want a bigger cushy seat, so thanks for the Cloud 9 recommendation. I paid about $2100 for mine, which is worth it. They put a lot into the development of the bike, including a carbon fiber frame and smart features. They also include free shipping. My only issue is seat doesn’t go low enough, and you can’t raise the handlebars. I adjusted the seat to make it feel a little more comfortable.
Love this bike! Wrote them about a year ago, requesting a more attractive mag rim option. The rims is what held me back from purchasing this bike. BLACK MAGS OR ORANGE MAGS!!
I want to get the HP spectre x360 16 12th gen. And I am wondering if the intel arc a370m is good for my personal tasks such as college / microsoft word, excel, powerpoint work. Searching the web with 5 to 10 tabs open. Watching youtube, nextflix etc all day. Maybe some light video editing and basic entry level coding. Would this laptop get it done??
Too big for me (5'1"). And too expensive. And don't like the boy-bike bar. Should make a girls version. I have tripped by having a peddle hit the ground because of a turn and this bar would have killed my groin area as I fell off the seat and rode a bit holding myself up with the handle bars. And for $2,700 they should include extra comfort seats and other accessories such as a KICKSTAND!!!!! Not very consumer oriented!!! NO THANKS!!!!
@@tyg1434 yes, lithium mining is not without its impacts. But especially being such a small battery, relative to most cars on the road it is a huge difference in emissions, plus there is the fact that the electricity that does power it is produced more efficiently and could even be renewable. Compared to electric car centric models of eco friendly transport ebikes are an even better step in the right direction.
@@MP4_mafia hemp battery and hemp biodiesel is the future but Lithium is where the money is at and they can charge a premium. It's not about emission or going green Always follow the money
@@tyg1434 hemp batteries do not have even remotely the needed energy density to be worthwhile in electric transport. Last I read the most energy dense example made to date was around 1/16th the energy density of Li-Ion. To put that in more straight forward terms, to have the same energy capacity on this bike, a hemp battery would need to be 16x larger than the battery you see in this video. Look, I'm all for finding more enviro friendly and cheaper ways to make batteries especially if we can come up with alternatives with similar or better power and energy density than Li-Ion but as usual, anything that has the word hemp attached has a certain subset of people who automatically think it's the solution to all the worlds problems.

One of the best Urtopia Carbon 1S reviews I have seen. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for a great review. I've been looking for an E-bike, but this one stands out. I appreciate your help.

I would say so. Your description of what you're looking to do fits the description of what the A370m is meant for. 👍🏽

How does a E bike benefit the planet ? It doesn't
It's a substitute for short car commutes- it allows people to go the extra distance that they wouldn't normally bike with much less emissions.
@@MP4_mafia brainwashed thinking. Making a lithium battery does more harm than good.
