    Hi. I just bought two ils 160 intimidator moving heads. Do I need (2) d-fi usb sticks to run both of them or just one usb stick? Thanks for your help

      If you want to run them wirelessly then you’ll need two dfi usb sticks. If you have one dfi usb stick you’ll have to use a dmx cable and dmx out from the first mover to the second. Honestly best bet, have two dfi usb sticks

    Ok, how do I do a basic setup using cables? I just got four of those slims for my school and the controllerbut it won't respond and take control of the lights.

      You’ll want to daisy chain the fixtures together. Cable out of the ILS output from the command to your first light. Cable out of the dmx out of fixture one to the second fixture, dmx in. Repeat that till you have them connected. Set the fixtures in ILS mode 1,2,3 or 4. You should then have control of the fixtures. If not, lmk

    What if we want the different par fixtures to be different colors?

      Select the pars to be ILS1 and the rest of the pars to ILS2.

      @@lightinginventory Thank you for saying that. I just bought some ILS lights and the command and this is the only video that has been helpful because I didn't buy the lighting rig that goes with this. My question still is how do you tell the command to make ILS1 Pars Blue and ILS2 Pars Warm White and ILS3 Pars Red? I can change the ILS mode at the lights on the back, but what does that do at the command? I don't see a way to control separate ILS modes on the command.

      @@nbajam951 so ILS 1 & 2 are helpful for more use with movers. ILS 1 mover goes to the right while ILS 2 mover goes to the left. ILS 3 & 4 are just copies of ILS 1 & 2. NOW there is always something new to the firmware and updates from Chauvet so I would assume down the road that ILS 1/2/3/4 will be all different and allow you to want ILS 1 set to blue, ILS 2 set to red, ILS 3 set to warm white. If this happens down the road subscribe to the channel and you’ll see a video on it

    I had a quick question recently purchased ils command but I’m having trouble connecting it to my kinta FX ils . Do I need the DFI - USB still ?

      Hey @kokoe79 You will need one of these options. The DFi USB stick, the DFi XLR receiver or a simple DMX cable that runs from your ILS command to the Kinta FX ILS. Do you have the DFi USB stick? If so make sure your USB stick matches the same DFi channel as your Command and you should be good to go from there!

      I have 4 DFI USB sticks do I still need a transmitter stick ?

    • @lightinginventory
      @lightinginventory  7 месяцев назад

      @@kokoe79 Nope, BUT you do need to make sure your command is transmitting the desired channel, lets say channel 16. You'll need to set your USB sticks to the dip switch of channel 16 to receive that. Once you have both the command and USB stick transmitting/receiving channel 16 you'll be set.
