I've wet felted many bowls -- learned originally from an earlier LF tutorial -- but today I'm really inspired by the idea of using the knitted piece for embellishment. I have tons of yarn and tonight I'm going to start knitting some strips using a variety of yarn, and then I'm taking tomorrow off from work specifically to wet felt a vessel this way. Can't wait to see what happens! As always, thank you Marie and Living Felt for the great idea 🥰🥰
These are so cute and pretty and a great idea for sharing with a friend or loved one! Love the idea of using a swatch of knitting as the embellishments for the bowls! Fun project!
Watching the replay before the sun shines, oh, looking outside, cloudy skies, perhaps some snow :) Thank you Marie for showing this, gotta go to pay attention :)
What a fantastic project. I love this idea of having a felting friend over and doing this project together. Thank you for an excellent tutorial. Your generous sharing of knowledge helps us all grow and expand this magical wooly art medium. Thank you!
Another great video! I can't wait to make this with a friend to teach them to wet felt! Great tip for marking where to cut including direction of the design on the inside. Thank you for all you do!
I love this! It’s the perfect size to not be intimidating and a perfect project to learn with a friend.
That’s a lovely idea. My sister is visiting next, I’ll see if she wants to make bowls one afternoon!💚
It's wild how many shapes the vessels can be from the same resist!
I love the flash fire look of the finished project!
Thanks to you and Dawn for such a wonderful show! Great ideas and information!

Looks like a great way to use a deserted piece of knitting. I definitely have a selection to choose from! 😀
Loving the friendship…Will do with my granddaughter
I loved watching this. You make it look so easy Marie.💕😊
What an excellent little tutorial, I’ve been away from wet/nuno felting for awhile so this is a great refresher for me… adorable idea ❤
Good morning from Pembroke Maine! It's rainy and a sloppy mess!!
A great fun project! I like that I can make it stronger if needed by felting more and training it. Much stronger than my first one, thank you.
Great video with wonderful instructing and tips!

would be cute filled with felt hearts
My favorite part of wet felting is to hold it when it is full of soap and feel the texture of the wool.
I love this!
i am looking foreword to trying this with at least one of my felting friends.

What a great look adding the yarn to the vessel. Such wonderful ideals for a maybe new wet felting beginner. Hope to give it a try in the near future.
great idea to recycle knits that never got finished
Great instructions. I love how the bowls turned out. Now to get up the courage to try it!
I love this so much! What a great idea, just in time for Valentines Day!
I like the tip about marking where to cut. Also, do you have an on-line supply source for yarns?
You might check out our yarn bundles here: feltingsupplies.livingfelt.com/Yarn_c_113.html
This must to try when my order gets here.
I keep thinking of friends I need to share one of these with.
using piece of knit scarf tells me that I can use lots of small pieces of lace.
How do you get it to keep its shape when rinsing? Just dunk it in water over and over? Hold it under running water? Can you explain the vinegar bath?
Once you take it off the resist can I still add any specialty fiber or yarn or is it too late to "add" stuff?
They would need to be stitched in place.
@@LivingFelt thank you
If I use the shingle method with roving, how many layers should I do?
You would need at least 2 :) ...
I'm late to the party
