For me, when comparing this to the Golf 8 GTI, the Golf only has its looks (interior and exterior) going for it. Though it's not like the I30 N looks bad. In fact this car is gorgeous. The I30 N outperforms the GTI and it does so at a slightly cheaper price. Plus all the equipment you get as standard compared to the Golf. No man this I30 N is proper. With my imaginary thousands I'd take the I30 N over the Gold 8 GTI😂. That 8.9L/100KM is wishful thinking shem😂

You only buy a Golf GTI because you like a Golf GTI. And the Golf will have slightly better interior, especially the seats if properly taken care of. But it's more expensive overall. I bought a Kona N, the competition would be a T-Roc R, for almost 35% more. But it's not 35% better. (36k Euro vs 50k Euro) with comparable equipment. I wouldn't pay 14k Euro for slightly better interior and AWD.
The Yaris gr is better
@@zimdollar3229 Better than what? An i30 n? They want over 40k Euros for it in Germany. For a Yaris. It's a very cool Yaris, and a very cool car, but you get less money for it. The Yaris is either for a person who wants a race car all the time, or drives little. It's not a good daily car.

Performance wise it’s way better than the VW not to mention price. On the other hand, the fact that it depreciates so much is a red flag and imagine that interior in 5 years how it would look coz already it looks outdated.

this car has 2 competitors and it mops the floor with both of them its fast and affordable than golf 8(Gti) and also my beloved brand BMW 128 ti, The only hatch that can destroy this car is Golf R and BMW M135, but they cross the 1 million market. Im team BMW but i wouldnt even think twice but buy this car out of the 3 (i30N, 128ti & golf 8) if i had 700k

The depreciation on these cars is insane I'd really like to pick up a used one soon.
In Germany you don't have a big loss, you can get a used one with 20k kilometers for 38.000 €, so almost no loss of value.

I prefer the looks of a golf gti and i also like the golf for forcing Hyundai to bring the N division. So for that reason id go for the i30N cos i assume that it is more reliable than the GTI.

In the uk finance terms on Hyundai cars is expensive… the resale value after 2/3/4 years is lower on VW BMW comparable cars.

On the interior I prefer Golf 8 but for the whole car I would take the I30N

The car looks good but on the value side it’s disappointing… if a 2023 model with 10000km drops by 150k / difference . What will push people to buy a new vehicle and as well trading it in 😮😢

One car that would destroy the Hyundai i30n and Golf 8 gti is the third generation Ford Focus RS 2.3 litre turbo charged inline 4.
GTI is no longer that relevant. This Hyundai has a better cool factor about it. The warranty will be again something I'd look into. I30 n is a better buy.

Hai this car is not at all impressive to me. The only thing it has going on is a beautiful exterior and a powerful engine but for a car with a fixed price point such as this I expected much better in terms of luxury.
