Good to see that Jamie has done so well, quite some time ago now that some of his high school class mates teased him for kissing a boy in `Billy Elliot'.
Beautiful song and a movie that i liked. I get that people read different things from something they see or hear. Personally i saw it as a brotherly type relationship. I've just discovered The Irrepressibles and need to hear more than the few songs i've heard
well it was released during Valentine's Day and from the studio that brought us Brokeback Mountain... Having said that the relationship in the book is platonic, but the movie leaves it ambiguous although leaning on the romantic side starting with when Marcus saving Esca's life for no reason other than love at first sight, with his gay uncle knowing that instantly and with all the sexual tension during their journey...and both my female best friend and I lol'ed during those moments.
Any movie with Jamie Bell in it is worth seeing. I've seen the movie and there is a fair amount of sexual tension between the two characters but the same could be said for "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" which is clearly not a gay movie.
It could be argued that there is a lot of gay subtext in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It does not have to be explicit or spelled out, or even put there consciously by the writers. That is the nature of subtext.
Robert Hansen Watch the Uruguay movie "Burnt Money". Real life gay Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid set in the early 60s. It's a couple of decades old, & subtitled, but well worth it.
The movie 'The Eagle' is not at all a gay movie by any stretch of the imagination. Yes, it does depict two (fantastically good looking) guys finally becoming best friends after successfully enduring trials together that serve to slowly build and cement their mutual trust, until they became really close. So many adult men do not have a best friend. And I find it sad that this movie is not rather used to highlight that it is possivble for men to find a best friend.
I recently found the book on which the movie is based. The book describes how Marcus became interested in a guest, a young woman, staying with a neighbour to Uncle Aquila. Before Marcus and Esca leave on their epic journey to the north, Marcus has to woman promise to regularly check on his pet wolf, as a way of ensuring she will still be there waiting for his return. While I found the movie to be really good, I have enjoyed reading and noting the aspects of the story not included in the movie.
The book is "The eagle of the ninth" by Rosemary Sutcliff. First published in 1954. Last reprint in 1961. Printed in Great Britain, before the time of ISBNs. Good luck for finding a copy of this book.
This is a very Good movie about a roman and his slave which ends in role reversal and ultimately empathy for each other that was earlier impossible. It is a beautiful story of eventual love and respect thru empathy. But not romantic love. It could have been written in effectively, but it wasn't to my recollection.

Very nice movie! Love channing and bell
i thought its Tom Holland in the Thumbnail!, Jamie Bell and him are seriously look alike!
Jamie Bell 😍😍😍😍😍
Haunting. Excellent choice.
Thank you
Any movie with Jamie Bell in it is worth seeing.
Yes, I've seen that movie. You're right.
I think Jamie is perfectly yummy.
What is this called with channing tatum
Man or woman, how can one not fall in love with Jamie Bell ????
He certainly tops my list of 'Most Beautiful Men in Film'.
Jes' sayin'
Wow. I've never heard of this. Looks powerful.
Peter Hulley men have learned that showing any love or emotion towards another man makes you a homosexual or weak and this is so sad.
@@SuperPeterism can you tell me the name of the book, please.
The book is "The eagle of the ninth" by Rosemary Sutcliff. First published in 1954. Last reprint in 1961. Printed in Great Britain, before the time of ISBNs. Good luck for finding a copy of this book.
@@SuperPeterism thanx...the hunt begins.
I love Jaime bell and this movie was great
제일 좋아하는 영화에요 완벽한 영상 감사해요♡
I do believe...even if it's a one-way desire without effect..
I totally forgot I saw this movie. It wasn't until the end when I realized I missed this entire thread while watching it. Time to do a rerun.
Molto bello, io sono fans di Jamie Bell , mi piace molto come attore, ha uno sguardo magnetico.
Dove sei amico?
Davvero!
Okay, I get it RUclips. I watched clips from Rocketman, I get a video with Jamie Bell in the thumbnail through the algorithm.
Damn the soundtrack really matching to the movies, so much captivated me to watch the movie.
loved this movie seen it lots of times two males bonding wish was a sequel
Glad to see that Love can happen between two average types-not always absolutely gorgeous!
Yeah, poor Channing Tatum, what a curse to be so homely, lol.
This is wonderful
If you like Jamie Bell you're gonna LOVE Tom Holland: he could be his clone.
Exactly !
Ugh, not even close.
JB is one of my favorite actors, but I can't stand TH.
Bull's eye!
umm no
Tom is far sexier, and has a much better butt!
How is the movie called
The eagle
Awesome 😎💯😎 thanks
This is a very
Good movie about a roman and his slave which ends in role reversal and ultimately empathy for each other that was earlier impossible. It is a beautiful story of eventual love and respect thru empathy. But not romantic love. It could have been written in effectively, but it wasn't to my recollection.
Very well done !
This was a good movie.
Piękna piosenka... ❤
This entire movie was one long ‘just FUCK’ already
Love this clip!! WOW🙂🙂
HOOOOCH !!!👅🔥👅🔥👅Oooohhh yeeesss Babies.... really lovable couples...of course, I have seen this movie on own DVD's home movie !!!👅🔥👍😛✌🤘Both guys Hoootiest couples
It is a perfect song!!!!!
When I watched years ago it gave me that vibe subtle that something was there, If this movie was made today they would have had an attraction, it was Roman times after all and that was normal behaviour between young men back then.
This movie was made "today" and it depicts modern understandings, not those people had 2000 years ago of which we can't know.
@@saksingj I don't know how old are you but 10 years is not today for any standards, our world has change a lot and the Hollywood actors weren't doing a line to get the ground breaking gay role like in fact is what they are doing for the last 5 years including today.
@@diferentization 10 years is nothing compared to almost 2000 years, in which time this piece takes place. What actors did or wanted to do is irrelevant, as this is a fandom video and all that matters is the conception in the watchers head.
@@saksingj please read my first comment so I don't have to explain myself again and again. Waisting so much time answering comments from people who do not care to read properly before. Good day.
linda musica, toa profunda dentro da alma, quem ama alguem de corpo e alma,
That made me sad. Why if any one loves anyone They have to be rejected? Love is always love, but if you don't likethat way ok... but ... let the others be.
I looooooove this movie. It just too exquisite 👌👏👏🙂
Augh Bable name of the movie?...pls..
@@marcomtz6316 The Eagle...it's story about a slave and master in ancient Rome👌
The movie is art. The video is art. I have recently finished reading the novel that both are supposed to based on. I love them all.
However, a movie based more closely on the novel is due some day, with the Irrepressible's music as a theme, with both Jamie and Tatum again on the leading roles.
Výběr songu je opravdu excelentní 👍
Talent sladit 👁️👁️s👂👂 👍
Love this film
Amazing movie
I think they’re not in love with each other. But they do love each other as friends. Btw, Jamie Bell looks like an older version of Tom Holland.
I LOVE CHANNING TATUM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
though greatly edited, this is misleading. This is not a couple, just two men who become friends through trust earned. A fantastic movie though.
I've always had a huge crush on Jamie Bell.
Cuando ves a Billy Eliot... Crecen tan rápido.
Por suerte para el después se hizo Jumper y dejó atrás esta vida de soldado de fortuna..
Debí perdeme algo en la película porque yo lo vi como una amistad más potente que he visto nunca
girl i thought that was tom holland for like two minutes omg i was like WHEN DID HE DO A MOVIE WITH CHANNING TATUM?! 😭
