I agree totally. Loved the books but really that just broke my heart. I didn't think it needed to happen. They already had suffered and gone through so much. They deserve a happy ending.

Honestly I never thought I would love a side characters love story more than the main characters one. I'm sooo in love with these 2. If there was a spin off show based on them I would watch it in a heartbeat. Sidenote u chose great background music. Especially with the Taylor Swift song 😌🙏 Must be a fellow swiftie

They actually had chemistry, unlike Alina/Mal and Alina/darkling.
They're the only couple I liked in the show. It's so awkward seeing Mal and Alina's constant eye fcking when they don't even have a tiny bitty of chemistry.

Last time I checked it was Shadow and Bone, not Six of Crows. So it’s logical they aren’t really “here”.

I love how their story isn't the traditional boy makes girl blush and she falls for him, it's the other way around and I think it's so cute how she always made him blush in the show and even the books she always makes him blush and it's just so amazing and I love them
Same! I’m a shy girl myself but I love seeing women who are sexually forward and men who are a little awkward in books and tv. It really challenges limiting gender expectations that say that women have to be “pure” and men have to be “dominant”

I know I love these two. I watched the whole show and their scenes are the ones I keep going to watch. Their ending is the reason I have not read Crooked Kingdom. I hope they change the ending in the show.

@@zxrx7985 in the books, its honestly just off and on. They don't start having chemistry until the 3rd in my opinion, but tbf, in the books, the Darkling is way more hateable, so I can see why Alina would choose Mal...if she had to choose them at all.

They are literally better than the main characters, the chemistry the cuteness the dialogue between them was so appealing I hope they get to show up more in the next season as main characters tbh.
It had started with a storm, and in a way, that storm had never ended. Nina had blown into his life with the wind and rain and set his world spinning. He’d been off balance ever since.
I really want season 2 to have a big plot line of Nina trying to rescue Matthias and then gaining his trust again.

I am so in love with the way matthias says Stop it" and "Quit it" on the ice scene, Its so damn adorable.. after watching it over 10x it still makes me blush, giggle and smile more then I have in a long time.. I love it

It's so hilarious to me that Nina spends the whole of their initial acquaintance insulting Mattias and his mental calculations are "Yes this is clearly that Grisha SEDUCTION we were warned about." And then of course Nina WTF expression because he thinks this is her "working it." Half-drowned, frostbitten, and relentlessly snide and he is so attracted to her he assumes it must be magic. Next season I'd like him to see her actually seduce someone in front him, so he can appreciate the difference.
After reading Six of crows...these two absolutely break my heart, it was so nice to see them like this before it all went to shit. i love them so much
It really sucked the way it went. Was really hoping he'd give her a kid just incase it all went South... Sigh. They are soulmates.

the amount of love I have for Nina and the actress who portrayed her knows no bounds. she is easily, EASILY, one of my favourite characters ever ever and I will absolutely die on this hill. GO NINA GO DANIELLE THANK YOU FOR PORTRAYING HER EXACTLY AS SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN

honestly, i really want the forbidden couple ,drüskelle and crisha,matthias and nina stay in icy land together forever,where they can be happy with each other , where they can be who they are ,not just grisha or drüskelle but nina zennik and matthias helvar. Out there they have to be enemies, and have to be separate ... my favorite couple.
i initially visited this video because i got obsessed with their relationship on the show and wanted to see more of them, and now i return to thank the girl in the comment section of this video who inspired me to read the books. i have now finished the grishaverse and have fallen in love with reading again. thank you random girl in the comments, i appreciate it. ❤️
