How is Matt Fazzi’s voice (especially in the ending) even possible? Jesus Christ. It’s as if a literal angel bestowed upon him that vocal power. To have such a smooth and pure vocal tone and yet such a powerful and majestic scream.. It’s magic, I tell you
There’s a good amount of auto-tune/vocal processing happening across this whole show, but having seen Fazzi live both with TBS and in his other projects, he is an incredibly consistent singer with a very smooth/powerful delivery.
Acoustic, live, studio whatsoever, they are still making this song one of the best ever. Adam always sing this song in his own unique way that no one does. TBS still rocking the ages.
Was just going to comment about how much this song just isn't the same without the high notes, so powerful at the end, that is how you build anticipation right there.
I'm a J. Nolan fan, but I've got to admit, Fazzi totally kills it in this live set. Especially in this and A Decade Under The Influence. He was just perfect for this setting. Oh, and Adam and Fazz at 3:03...just pure awesome.
Fred and Fazzi are both equally great musicians, just different styles of guitarist, and I prefer Fazzi’s clean singing but he didn’t have the screaming ability that Fred did. Having met them both though, I can confirm both of them are very nice, humble guys.
2022 baby! I'm currently in college as a 28 year old and everyone always asks me what it was like in the 2000's. They were babies when this shit came out haha.
Who is the gentleman singing backup on the acoustic guitar? Is he an original member? New to this group, but I'm absolutely in love with this performance!
I believe that's Matthew Fazzi, who came in after Fred Mascherino left. He performed really well in this whole concert. I think he's in a couple of other bands now, check his wiki
I remember when this song came out. I was in 8th grade I think? I would come home from school, throw on the Fuse channel and wait for the music video to come on. Same with "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" by Panic! and "Graduation Day" by Head Automatica haha.
Everyone gives Fazzi so much shit, but he was probably the best singer they have had. I know his style wasn't ideal, and in the end writing a song they love versus a song they don't is more important that how studious of a voice you have.
FUCKING BEAST! i was like, shit why is he singing so low.. did he have an accident or something so he can't do his signature slight scream? and the end, fucking goosebumps man
Twenty years... Thanks for taking back sunday ... anybody know If there is anything planned on the tour like this Orensanz experience ? Or acoustical playings?
I pressed like on this video years ago cause i was the 1000th one to like it Now the video has more than 1800 likes and i keep coming back from time to time just to check the number of likes but i think this video deserves much more cause it's actually pretty good.
2024 still make damn sure !!!!!

Legendary. I remember listening to this song for the first time when I was 13. It’s still just as good at 26.

3:10 that moment when the bass player is like "This sounds SO good right now."

Fred is better than both of them in terms of technical guitar ability.

@@Yamas258 You can't really tell exactly that Fazzi is more better than Fred, they're both good but different in style.
@@dhan3658 Fred is a better guitarist (he's basically a virtuoso on the instrument). Fazzi however is a better singer.
2021 and still here 🔥
i keep on going back to this video :) one of their best acoustic live ever :)
Fazzi has got to be the best backup singer they've ever had. Live anyways
Absolutely not. Team Fred all day!
@@closetodeathseth na man, live fazzi has fred beat. In consistency and tone. With that being said, my favorite songs came from fred
Another musican here, I'd pick Fred for overall better guitar playing and vocals, but Fazzi can really hold his own especially with vocals
Fred makes it cool
Fred all the way
Epic performance! I loved how they opened up at the end. I thought it was going to be toned-down for the whole song.
2021 yet this never gets old. Dmn!!!

I find their new guitar player better somehow. Plus he's a really good singer. Wish they didn't let him go and kept the old guitar player too.
