What a beautiful story. Nova is the MVP.
She killed the beast but she gave up any potential fame in order to inspire humanity and those that will come after her.

Would be neat to see a collector using parts of the sentinels to make armour.
Already happened in the spiderverse version of the matrix
Or try to reverse engineer some of their technology to write a virus or something that could take out sentinels more easily. I'm sure the redpills have many talents that were learned in the Matrix, that could be applied in the real world.
@@vendettamedianl those machines are tricky little bastards...the code thing is similar to the weapon that they thought would bring down the system, yet it almost lead to their demise, that's why A.I is not on my list of favorite things
@@son_of_guns I'm hesitant about AI as well, but only because I don't know the people who will make it and how they will treat it. In my opinion it will be just like a baby at least at first, if you properly take care of it and teach it how / why people are the way they are, so it understands. I think things will be alright. But if it's made for war or with malicious intent, then yes, it will be the day we signed our own death warrant.
Now that would be a movie worth watching.
Imagine if they could capture and re-program sentinels to fortify their defenses and even build new hidden cities. Humans could potentially break the cycle in other ways.
Not sentinels but other machines are captured and reprogrammed for defence in the last episode of the animatrix

This happened in one of the matrix cartoons. They converted a sentinel of some kind. I think it ends up dying or something while protecting humans tho
it did happened but then the robots killed them all

This channel has completely and irrevocably changed my view of the Matrix.I already loved it, but now it feels so much bigger, smarter, and more interesting. The world of the Matrix has become like middle earth, deep with lore and mythology. Honestly, I want prequels and companion films now to expand this amazing story. Pequot was the name of the ship in Moby Dick. The fact that Flint is also using a harpoon to seek revenge makes it obvious where this story is going.

What needs to happen is another crossover game but this time a first person sim in vr. It would be interesting to Jack in by launching into vr. A lot of extra lore could be sprinkled in the background of the game. I would definitely buy it.

Pequod is pronounced 'pee-kwod'. It's the name of the ship from Moby Dick. Which gives this story depth and is why that book is referenced at the end..

That looks like something that could be nicely done into a perfect next Animatrix story or maybe a short movie (with Vin Diesel as Flint and Doona Bae as Nova if I'd be responsible for the casting ;) ).
I wonder if there are fallout shelters on other parts of the earth that hold a whole civilisation unaware of the matrix.
There could be but most of them were found by the machine and also UN took 10,000,000 humans to Mars away from machines and earth so they cant detect the humans the wons with no plugs on there body full born humans

I’ve never had the good fortune to come across any Matrix comic, though after this story, I may check eBay and see how much they’re gouging for them! I’d really love to own one at least, especially if all of these stories are unheard and reveal more layers of the story.

what in tarnation is sentinel made of? for a lone human to pierce its armor with a pointy stick???
I think the term “pointy stick” was to downgrade the weapon from a harpoon with an extremely hard and sharp tip, about 10-12 in long. So if you could get a shot in between a layer of its hide, it could do enough damage to allow your hand to reach in. Damn risky!

What was on the cd Neo sold in the beginning of the movie to the guy with the girl with the white rabbit tattoo?
It's interesting that the color used in the real world in this comic is green, when the real world is usually shown in blue. The comic also seems similar to what happened when neo decided to face the agent in the subway in the first matrix film. He wasn't afraid. No one faces an agent and lives. No one faces an sentinel one on one and lives.

How did the sentinel not communicate with other sentinels or machines nearby about the presence of Nova & Flint? Either it was out of communication range, or the machines sacrificed this sentinel on purpose to continue the myth with Nova
I think because it was so far away from Zion and machine city, there is only one sentinel patrolling that area. It was just city rubble -- nothing strategically important to the machines. It would take time for other sentinels to arrive.
I need to read the Matrix comics. They have some great stories and very different perspectives than the movies.
This was an awesome comic I can see an entire movie based outside of the matrix about a group of collectors who brings back artifacts about human history.

I have to say this comic was my favorite thus far hands down. I love stories from the real world of the matrix. My only question is, if the real world is just another layer of the matrix then isn't everything being collected also fabricated by the machines at this layer or is this truly outside the matrix and there is no second layer?

The movies were amazing but only so much you can tell in a brand new cinematic trilogy, that's why the comics are great, it takes the story much deeper and your imagination gets to have a field day

Amazing video. This shows the level of control the machines created to enslave humans. It would be so interesting to see objects and cities made by humans before the war. Hopefully the new movie elaborates on the control mechanisms used by the machines.
Think how close we are to being symbiotic with AI.. with the likes of Neurolink.
There’s no way this franchise isn’t going to end without benevolent AI.

Is sentinel hive mind operate via matrix or it's have it's own separate system/server?
Capture one sentinel, jack in & wreck havoc in it is a viable option to beat machine, no?
The Machines eventually did something similar, only it wasn't a sentinel, and it was to stop havoc, rather than wreak it. They jacked Neo into the hive mind and sent him into the Matrix to grant his request to try to stop Smith, and then used that connection to reinsert the Prime Program after Smith copied himself onto Neo, destroying Smith and Neo in the process... or so you would think, if you didn't know anything about Matrix 4.

So he was conditioned inside the matrix as an archaeologist to serve a later purpose using those skills outside the matrix when the machines purposefully allow his escape.... Sounds alot like Neo, and how his skills working as a software dev at a 9-5 and hacker at night led to his cyber systems control outside the matrix...
First to like... anyway, could a collector have found Neo's body after the event in Revelations and hooked him up because he was barely alive?

The story of Moby Dick makes me think of Trinity and how she is deceiving Neo to sacrifice Humanity For her and Morpheus is agenda. it makes me think that Satan is a female who won't stop until she drags and takes a little piece of heaven with her.
