Neo didnt unlock anything. It's by design. His existence is a control feature. He's basically a human program with a function. He is unaware of his true nature until meeting the Architect.

I would like to believe the story was trying to tell us that the human spirit and the power of love (as cheesy as that sounds) is something that the machines will never truly understand. Our strength, our will, our ability to survive is as a result, NOT of programming, but of the indomitable human spirit.
Smith gains his power by assimilation. He obtained the eyes of the oracle by assimilating the oracle. He gained the ability to control the weather by assimilating Sati. Neo gains his power by realization. He gained the ability to bend the spoon (and therefore bend the matrix) by realizing there is no spoon. He gained the ability to stop bullets by realizing there are no bullets.
But Neo's mind entered the Mobil Avenue without realizing it. He dodged bullets without first realizing he could -- it was survival instinct. The One is by design -- his powers are automatic.
The red pill is just another system of control. They were never freed by man. You see Neo being freed by a machine in the first matrix after taking the red pill...don't you get it? Zion is just another layer of The Matrix, and Neo is apart of the program to keep the machines in power over the 1% who figures out The Matrix isn't real.
@@HakeemTheDream616 this is the reason the second and third films absolutely sucked. They were matrix films so I loved them, but the possibilities of where the story could of went was endless. We could of had another Star Wars on our hands. Not just movies but wonderful films that entertained generations upon generations. I truly hope some how - resurrections voids the last two films

One of the coolest explanations I’ve heard through the years is when people made fun of the fight with multiple smith(s) and they said it was horrible effects and bad cgi, but someone said that it was the matrix lagging like a video game and the mass copies of smith made it look rubbery due to the matrix overloading so much it was being stress tested and barely held up. Love your videos and can’t wait for matrix 4!!

The anomalies code did not change Smith. The Oracle explained that the Smith "virus" was the result of the simulation trying to balance the equation. Because Neo existed, so does Smith. The simulation automatically adjusts to maintain control.
Neo was the anomaly and smith said in reloaded when neo killed him something in him transformed. Neo altered smith code allowing him to become his opposite. Like in Harry potter when voldemort tried to kill Harry he sparked the property causing Harry to become his equal.

And Smith, as a program that witnessed something outside his expectations (Neo's revival), decided to rebel against the system. Now Neo give him purpose, he rebooted him in similar fashion as Trinity rebooted Neo.

I wouldn't say he dodged bullets like an agent. He really just made a single evasive move backwards, whereas the agents did a kind of back and forth motion blur. They just seem kinetically different.
The Matrix is clearly using Keanu Reeves movie roles to train Neo for his destiny. It taught Neo about the importance of love in the movie Point Blank. It has been training his fighting skills in the movies Speed and the John Wick movies. And the Bill and Ted movie simulations showed the Matrix that Neo should not have in advance full knowledge of his destiny or he will just become a hopeless slacker.
After watching the matrix series more than a few times, I knew Neo was controlling and manipulating the matrix to stop the bullets, but I didn't know if he was doing it by using just "mind over matter" or if he was actually rewriting or reprogramming the matrix code some how. It always bugged me that I really just didn't know. So thank you for making this video, it was great! P.S. When I first started watching your channel, I didn't know if you were making half of this shit up or not, but I found out after binge watching almost all your video's, when it comes to the matrix movies you really know your shit!
He does it by having a deeper grasp of the rules/surroundings and then bending or breaking it at will. So for example when Neo flies he doesnt fly, hes bending space around him. In case of the bullets, hes blocking their trajectory by interacting with the space.
About Sati. You mentioned a quote way back: "There's no reason a sun-controlling program should look like a little girl. Or an operating system seem to be a sybaritic French gangster." It implies that she had that function already. On the other hand, her dad sacrificed everything to save her, since she wasnt needed, and thus couldnt stay in the matrix... So I guess they just made a program that could controll the sun, but there already was a system in place?
Kamala and Rama-Kandra are programs from the machine city. Rama-Kandra is in charge of recycling operations to liquify dead human bodies to be fed intravenously to the humans in the pods. Kamala programs interactive software. Both usually exist on hardware within the machine city. Together they created a software program purely out of love, without having a specific purpose in mind. Programs that don't have a purpose return to the source and are deleted. Instead of that, Rama-Kandra sold the termination code of the Oracle's shell to the Merovingian in exchange for smuggling Sati (the program without a purpose) into the Matrix as an exile from the machine city in order to avoid deletion. Sati wasn't created in the Matrix. She was created outside of the Matrix by two programs in the machine city and then she was smuggled into the Matrix.

Exiles from the machine city are there specifically because they don't have an official, authorized purpose. Exile into the matrix is like an afterlife for programs that aren't needed anymore and who don't want to be deleted. They're protected by The Merovingian.
I always saw it as him embracing himself as the One gave him special admin/hacker privileges. And him stopping the bullets was him hacking against their programming and making them stop. Kinda like how he's able to use his powers in the real world. Because he can connect with the sentinels through his connection to the Source, he can cause them to blow up.
The Architect explained why Neo did not fully grasp the extent of his "powers": The process altered his conciousness but he is still human. The One is a means of controlling the anomalies -- the human rejections of the Matrix.

The Matrix is a system of control. It uses the element of choice to trick humans into believing they have free will. The Architect said 99% of humans accepted this subconsciously. But there are 1% that rejected the simulation. Those rejections are considered anomalies by the Architect. The rejections eventually destabilize the system because the system does not allow for rejections. The Architect created The One to control the anomalies. The One is a vessel for the anomalies. He is meant to accept the Matrix on behalf of all rejections -- red pills. This stabilizes the Matrix and it is rebooted. The One must choose to accept the Matrix -- he cant be forced -- because choice is the basis of the Matrix system.

Probably. But I would think that it would stay dormant, as long as these people don't realize what is going on. Those potentials, on the other hand, might be able to use some of that power, as they have a clue about what's going on.

I always thought that the architect just manipulated the matrix so that Neo doesn't die. Aka no actual superpowers even not matrix "god mode" ones, they just made him believe he has them. Something like watching a hacker inside your system trying commands he doesn't have access to but you want to have him think he does, you can just do what he intents to do at some cases. Honeycombing him.
The path of the One is a sub program of the Matrix. The program ensures the One fulfill's its purpose. That means not dying. It also means escaping danger and ensuring he receives the key from the Keymaster.
This is a great point actually, that the cause-effect the Merovingian believes is an illusion maintained by the Architect. On that kind of simulation model it makes sense that introducing choice (to make it believable) would inevitably introduce anomalies, because it would be so complicated to unify both things (choice with such a mathematical harmony where cause and effect (and Neo's wisdom/hacking) is mere illusion. Also it makes sense to ensure Neo's survival in the real world after he chose the door to save Trinity.
NEO “Mr. Anderson “truth be told!”, was a computer programmer. The MATRIX is a computer generated system. One that knows their way around a computer knows how to hack. Thus NEO being “the one” true hacker of the machines. He said “ NO” to the agents in the first movie shooting at him, because right there he don’t believe it anymore! Thus...him doing the Superman thing! 😃💪🏾
The superman thing seems to be a reference to Nietzsches concept. I wouldnt put it past them to hint the themes of "Man and superman" as well, since he is pretty much both. I havent dug in to these references, but they seem fairly rich :).
The Ironic thing is... they probably spent more money on putting Keanu Reeves in the game, than they did the actual game... that's by no means a knock to Keanu BTW, I love the dude he's awesome but CDPR Literally used him for marketing a bad game.

The bugs are Bethesda levels of bad (At least what I have witnessed) Basically my biggest problem is CDPR DISGUSTINGLY Over promised & basically used their "Good guy" reputation in order to sell a game they KNEW wasn't ready. It was proven that they withheld last gen console review copies so the bad news couldn't get out. (And let's remember this IS a last gen title at it's core, the PS5 & Series X probably weren't even concept when this was announced) If Cyberpunk had just released with little to no Marketing, people would have just called it a misfire that might improve in future, but the fact was... it was in Development for over 7 years with the constant promise of "When it's ready" & it got delayed 4 times (The last of which was to "Make it run on last gen systems") It's the Anthem & Fallout 76 levels of lies & Deception that make it a bad game for me (Go & watch the cut content from the game) & you might see what I mean. Now I'm not saying the game can't bounce back, we've seen games come back from the dead before (No Mans Sky) but CDPR has taken a well deserved hit to their reputation for this & if you disagree with everything I just said... that's perfectly fine if you can enjoy it for what it is. But I personally can't seeing the watered down & gutted version that it is in comparison to what we were promised. And sure... 5:13 when Sati wakes up she says "Morning" to the cat, the cat is also present when Neo has dejavu in the first matrix and the enviro changes(entrance becomes a wall. Separation is simulated within the matrix. All is one in the matrix. When Neo fights Agent Smith in final battle (Revolutions)he bleeds in the mouth and looks at the blood despite his superman powers, he has to remind himself that none of this is real.
It always seemed odd to me that he stopped gaining abilities after learning to fly. If I were him, I would have attempted teleportation. Since it isn't a physical space, he should have been able to modify his position instantly like in a game.
yeah like in counter strike first series of the game. there is a cheat code that you can actually teleport. but i think its very OP if he does that. also he can run like flash, he can swim and submerge for tons of hours, he can deploy anything in his will, he can just do anything. but the writters are the most cheater in the movie. he/she can write the story and how it will end.
Thinking about trinity reappearence, alongside neo's, makes me think of remote computer connections. There is a copy of every red pill stored in the matrix database to which red pills "connect" when entering the simulation. When a red pill dies, the remote copy is saved and kept. In this scenario, an hacker could remote connect to a remote copy of any person connected to the matrix, taking control of any person with their data, so memories, ideas, personality and physical appearance, effectively rebooting a dead person in the simulation.
So how come Smith was able to make drastic changes? He changed the simulation so much that the monitors on the hammer made the crew think there was something wrong with the matrix feed. "You like what I've done with the place?"
I wouldn't mind if Satie was some how part of the Matrix 4. It would be interesting to see how she grew as a program and how she effected the Matrix itself.
I love the detail that Cypher got used to the code, and Neo used the code. Cypher sees the code as images - he has internalized the translation in his mind, even while he admits that the translation works for the bad guys. Neo is doing the opposite. What is the opposite of "one"? In a sense "everybody else" is an opposite of one. Or just Legion - Many. Thats Smith right there. But you could also argue that zero is the opposite of one, especially in a binary context. Cypher means zero. He is a negative mirror of Neo, but in a different way then Smith. Neo dies saving the crews leader, Cypher dies kiling the crew. Neo defeats impossible odds when he is beginning to belive. Cypher is defeated in an impossible way, clinging to disbelief.
Cypher was 0 because he joined the system knowing it was evil, smith wanted to destroy everything because he felt betrayed by the system and hated humans, Neo was 1 because he saw that humans werent evil, but the system itself made them evil, so he felt the need to save them

Usually this happens when a program breaks down or if there's a better program to replace it, but in Sati's case she never had a purpose to begin with. She was created out of love rather than need. So to save her from deletion, Sati's parents make a deal with The Merovingian to smuggle Sati into The Matrix as an exile from the Machine City. Specifically, Rama-Kandra sells the termination code for The Oracle's software shell to The Merovingian in exchange for smuggling Sati into The Matrix. That's the official in-story reason why The Oracle looks different in the third movie.
Maybe the Machines need the Humans Brains (basicly a analogue Computer) for Quantum-Computing, for like a special Branch-prediction working with probabilities.

honestly the way i took neo's powers from the get go were just code manipulation. as to the extent of his powers, they would honestly be limitless. i can lucid dream and it's really interesting. my dreams are usually set in reality of some sort (i realize that sounds like a vague way of saying it's not reality but it is hard to explain in a quick way). as soon as i realize i'm dreaming my brain tries to wake me up (i actually think it's why dreams mimic reality so much, i just subconsciously reject the falsehood). if i manage to realize i'm dreaming and not wake up though, i have complete control over everything, environment, people etc. i can even just want people gone from the dream and they will vanish on the spot. i would assume neo to have that same control since he can access the base programming like someone who's lucid dreaming should be able to.
He realized that he was in a Dream, and that he wasn't in a "real world" as his grand awakening taught him that the matrix is a simulation and it can be broken at will

The integral anomaly is having 2 Architects at the same time, one is former neo one... and the other is the version that will be upgraded by his own choice... The Architect choose to be upgraded... Same as the Oracle with Sati.
He got rebooted, a new program provided by the oracle was installed at Neo, this requieres from him being reboot, literally died and resurrected in order to get the one code running in himself.
Regarding the stopping of bullets, the Merovingian commented that Neo had skill. The Merovingian was surprised by Neo's ability, even though he commented that he knew of and survived Neo's predecessors. This strongly implies that Neo's path differed from the previous Ones. Neo was recruited and trained by Morpheus. Neo learned "Kung-Fu" and other fighting techniques. He had combat experience. The other Ones must not have been red pills. They didnt live with the people of Zion prior to gaining powers. They didnt have a mentor like Morpheus.
The wachowski brothers are awsome writers and i know Matrix 4 will be well written especially if you consider it's been many years since matrix3. They might have rushed matrix 2 and 3 but matrix four will be well scripted
When neo talks to cypher it can be seeing the only one chiar pluged in green at the screen below, before cupher turns off the screen.... and neo learn to fly at the moment in elevator with trinity when he saya the spoon doenst exist before he shots ! I think.
I feel like Neo’s “code” is an anomaly because he can give himself Admin status even tho he’s supposed to stay a user in The Matrix. He doesn’t know or understand what that could mean because Morpheus only knows about Mod status; Therefore Neo wouldn’t know that there’s more that he can do because he’s only seen tiers of Moderators (Agents, Oracle, etc.), but never an Admin... Until he met the Architect. which isn’t really an Admin considering the Architect is just a program with some preprogrammed administrative powers so it can complete it’s tasks. It would be like trying to understand how a 5th dimension water droplet would look like under a 3rd Dimensional lens.
A thought just came to me that we see scenes from The Matrix 4 with Neo & Trinity as they are shooting flashback and/or back story elements that weren’t written/shot before needed for the context of the next (4th) chapter... thus they technically aren’t apart of what happens in #4 🤔💭🧐
The character Sati is often overlooked, misunderstood - or both, in my humble opinion. "Sati" means "mindfulness", "memory", or "awareness" in ancient Pali (the language used to write the Pali Canon, the core buddhist texts). Sati, a spiritual psychic faculty, is "indriya" - not only the ability or power to have insight into-, and see ultimate reality (the World as it truly is) with great discernment, but it is also the memory of past lives (within the concept of rebirths, cycles, beginnings and ends, etc.). The character Sati, can only be one of the most fundamental and powerful programs in all of the matrix. She can be seen as a prerequisite for the Oracle and the Architect in their respective ministries. Not as a re-actionary figure, but more as an operator, or agent - near the root of all sequences.
I'm under the impression that sati has always been able to manipulate the matrix, because at no point in any of the films does it show her not being able to do it, only that she's "out of place" which would elude to her having special gifts, even for a program.
i think he didnt realize his powers fully or didnt think of changing the matrix consciously. the first time he used his powers in the real world he passed out for days, but later he uses his powers again and was fine.
I suppose the next 'logical step' would be for him to bend the world to his whim. As he was also taken over by Smith, just like Sati. His code in the Matrix lives on and I suppose he is reincarnated to be pretty much the same and start his journey all over again...I suppose it's like new game +
The question I have always had is how come in the "real world" there is still oxygen to breathe? Could it be that the humans and machines came to a stalemate during the war and have an armistice, as such the humans cleaned the parts of they sky they live under and just left the sky darkened over the machine area? As such the machines perpetuate the history that they won and there is no other place to go other than Zion and perhaps the distances are too far for humans in their ships to go without having to recharge. And to paraphrase Neo, either nobody told them or nobody(other than the machines) know.
What if Neo isn't alive in the real world but saved his and Trinity's Consciousness and stored them in The Matrix were he is trying to help the new anomaly break the cycle
I can tell you how. See even though neo was in the matrix at the time. Humans have a natural capability of telekinesis. All he did was make the energy from the bullet an extension of his own energy to where he could manipulate the program molecules of each one therefore stopping them all in mid air motion. It’s just that simple.
I know this isn't in line with this particular topic but has it ever been considered that there aren't just other versions of the matrix before now but multiple layers to a single matrix... An example being that what we experience as the matrix itself, Zion, the construct are all a part of the same simulation.. one layered on top of another.
One of the things I never understood is how Neo could directly influence the Matrix itself in ways other people can't. We see him meet kids who have mild influence and one teaches him there is no spoon to visual success. Clearly other users in the Matrix are capable of warping their experience from their perspective. I always saw this as client-side versus server-side. Neo can get shot, but he can decide his heart is still pumping and overcome the pain receptors dialing into his brain. He can even empower himself to fly by warping his influence on the surrounding environment. But to stop bullets mid-air, shatter agent Smith's code, this is assuming power over outside variables from the Matrix. Neo is 'The One', but all that means is that he has source code that can reboot the Matrix, it's never made clear that this 'anomaly' empowers him to directly modify The Matrix as a superuser. Then again, we see him wield power over citizens of Machine City so perhaps it is. It just doesn't get laid out clearly so whenever there's a fight I don't understand why Neo can't easily overpower his opponents. He's not some monk, he's The One, he could probably tank any program and signal any human to unplug and be flushed just by touching them.
I think you should brush up a little bit on how computer programming works but other than that it's a really cool theory. Neo doesn't contain code that allows him to restart the Matrix. Neos code is the anomalous code. His code is used in the retraining of The Matrix neural network each time he goes to the source and the Matrix is rebooted. So each time The architect is closing the gap making The Matrix more stable until eventually the code is bug free and is no longer susceptible to an anomaly. For you gamers out there let's just say it's in beta and you going to the sources him reporting a bug in that bug is his code.
The hand gesture matters. Neo is blocking the input. All input he would experience is block. The glitch manifest and that is what it looks like. He manifest the anomaly in the matrix at that time. Drawing on instances of the impossible. Times in the world where the impossible seems to happen in the real world. Neo is in himself a control. So that impossible events don't happen as often this error is manifest through him. He can not only use this anomaly his the source of it at the same time.

One of the coolest explanations I’ve heard through the years is when people made fun of the fight with multiple smith(s) and they said it was horrible effects and bad cgi, but someone said that it was the matrix lagging like a video game and the mass copies of smith made it look rubbery due to the matrix overloading so much it was being stress tested and barely held up. I remember watching the movie as a kid and wondering "what does he mean by that???" The payoff is so great.
The anomalies code did not change Smith. The Oracle explained that the Smith "virus" was the result of the simulation trying to balance the equation. Because Neo existed, so does Smith. The simulation automatically adjusts to maintain control.

Neo was the anomaly and smith said in reloaded when neo killed him something in him transformed. Neo altered smith code allowing him to become his opposite. Like in Harry potter when voldemort tried to kill Harry he sparked the property causing Harry to become his equal.

And Smith, as a program that witnessed something outside his expectations (Neo's revival), decided to rebel against the system. Now Neo give him purpose, he rebooted him in similar fashion as Trinity rebooted Neo.

I wouldn't say he dodged bullets like an agent. He really just made a single evasive move backwards, whereas the agents did a kind of back and forth motion blur. They just seem kinetically different.
The Matrix is clearly using Keanu Reeves movie roles to train Neo for his destiny. It taught Neo about the importance of love in the movie Point Blank. It has been training his fighting skills in the movies Speed and the John Wick movies. And the Bill and Ted movie simulations showed the Matrix that Neo should not have in advance full knowledge of his destiny or he will just become a hopeless slacker.

After watching the matrix series more than a few times, I knew Neo was controlling and manipulating the matrix to stop the bullets, but I didn't know if he was doing it by using just "mind over matter" or if he was actually rewriting or reprogramming the matrix code some how.
It always bugged me that I really just didn't know. So thank you for making this video, it was great!

When I first started watching your channel, I didn't know if you were making half of this shit up or not, but I found out after binge watching almost all your video's, when it comes to the matrix movies you really know your shit!
He does it by having a deeper grasp of the rules/surroundings and then bending or breaking it at will. So for example when Neo flies he doesnt fly, hes bending space around him. In case of the bullets, hes blocking their trajectory by interacting with the space.
About Sati. You mentioned a quote way back: "There's no reason a sun-controlling program should look like a little girl. Or an operating system seem to be a sybaritic French gangster." It implies that she had that function already.
On the other hand, her dad sacrificed everything to save her, since she wasnt needed, and thus couldnt stay in the matrix... So I guess they just made a program that could controll the sun, but there already was a system in place?
Kamala and Rama-Kandra are programs from the machine city. Rama-Kandra is in charge of recycling operations to liquify dead human bodies to be fed intravenously to the humans in the pods. Kamala programs interactive software. Both usually exist on hardware within the machine city. Together they created a software program purely out of love, without having a specific purpose in mind. Programs that don't have a purpose return to the source and are deleted. Instead of that, Rama-Kandra sold the termination code of the Oracle's shell to the Merovingian in exchange for smuggling Sati (the program without a purpose) into the Matrix as an exile from the machine city in order to avoid deletion. Sati wasn't created in the Matrix. She was created outside of the Matrix by two programs in the machine city and then she was smuggled into the Matrix.

Exiles from the machine city are there specifically because they don't have an official, authorized purpose. Exile into the matrix is like an afterlife for programs that aren't needed anymore and who don't want to be deleted. They're protected by The Merovingian.
I always saw it as him embracing himself as the One gave him special admin/hacker privileges. And him stopping the bullets was him hacking against their programming and making them stop.
Kinda like how he's able to use his powers in the real world. Because he can connect with the sentinels through his connection to the Source, he can cause them to blow up.
The Architect explained why Neo did not fully grasp the extent of his "powers":

The Matrix is a system of control. It uses the element of choice to trick humans into believing they have free will. The Architect said 99% of humans accepted this subconsciously.
But there are 1% that rejected the simulation. Those rejections are considered anomalies by the Architect. The rejections eventually destabilize the system because the system does not allow for rejections.
The Architect created The One to control the anomalies. The One is a vessel for the anomalies. He is meant to accept the Matrix on behalf of all rejections -- red pills. This stabilizes the Matrix and it is rebooted.
The One must choose to accept the Matrix -- he cant be forced -- because choice is the basis of the Matrix system.

I always thought that the architect just manipulated the matrix so that Neo doesn't die. Aka no actual superpowers even not matrix "god mode" ones, they just made him believe he has them. Something like watching a hacker inside your system trying commands he doesn't have access to but you want to have him think he does, you can just do what he intents to do at some cases. Honeycombing him.
The path of the One is a sub program of the Matrix. The program ensures the One fulfill's its purpose. That means not dying. It also means escaping danger and ensuring he receives the key from the Keymaster.

This is a great point actually, that the cause-effect the Merovingian believes is an illusion maintained by the Architect. On that kind of simulation model it makes sense that introducing choice (to make it believable) would inevitably introduce anomalies, because it would be so complicated to unify both things (choice with such a mathematical harmony where cause and effect (and Neo's wisdom/hacking) is mere illusion. Also it makes sense to ensure Neo's survival in the real world after he chose the door to save Trinity.

NEO “Mr. Anderson “truth be told!”, was a computer programmer. The MATRIX is a computer generated system. One that knows their way around a computer knows how to hack. Thus NEO being “the one” true hacker of the machines. He said “ NO” to the agents in the first movie shooting at him, because right there he don’t believe it anymore! Thus...him doing the Superman thing! 😃💪🏾
The superman thing seems to be a reference to Nietzsches concept. I wouldnt put it past them to hint the themes of "Man and superman" as well, since he is pretty much both. I havent dug in to these references, but they seem fairly rich :).

Basically my biggest problem is CDPR DISGUSTINGLY Over promised & basically used their "Good guy" reputation in order to sell a game they KNEW wasn't ready.
It was proven that they withheld last gen console review copies so the bad news couldn't get out. (And let's remember this IS a last gen title at it's core, the PS5 & Series X probably weren't even concept when this was announced)
If Cyberpunk had just released with little to no Marketing, people would have just called it a misfire that might improve in future, but the fact was... it was in Development for over 7 years with the constant promise of "When it's ready" & it got delayed 4 times (The last of which was to "Make it run on last gen systems")
It's the Anthem & Fallout 76 levels of lies & Deception that make it a bad game for me (Go & watch the cut content from the game) & you might see what I mean.
Now I'm not saying the game can't bounce back, we've seen games come back from the dead before (No Mans Sky) but CDPR has taken a well deserved hit to their reputation for this & if you disagree with everything I just said... that's perfectly fine if you can enjoy it for what it is.
But I personally can't seeing the watered down & gutted version that it is in comparison to what we were promised.

When Neo fights Agent Smith in final battle (Revolutions)he bleeds in the mouth and looks at the blood despite his superman powers, he has to remind himself that none of this is real.
It always seemed odd to me that he stopped gaining abilities after learning to fly. If I were him, I would have attempted teleportation. Since it isn't a physical space, he should have been able to modify his position instantly like in a game.
yeah like in counter strike first series of the game. there is a cheat code that you can actually teleport. but i think its very OP if he does that. also he can run like flash, he can swim and submerge for tons of hours, he can deploy anything in his will, he can just do anything. but the writters are the most cheater in the movie. he/she can write the story and how it will end.

The other red pills know things intellectually and theoretically. Neo knows or realizes things experientially.
Thinking about trinity reappearence, alongside neo's, makes me think of remote computer connections. There is a copy of every red pill stored in the matrix database to which red pills "connect" when entering the simulation. When a red pill dies, the remote copy is saved and kept. In this scenario, an hacker could remote connect to a remote copy of any person connected to the matrix, taking control of any person with their data, so memories, ideas, personality and physical appearance, effectively rebooting a dead person in the simulation.
So how come Smith was able to make drastic changes? He changed the simulation so much that the monitors on the hammer made the crew think there was something wrong with the matrix feed. "You like what I've done with the place?"

I love the detail that Cypher got used to the code, and Neo used the code. Cypher sees the code as images - he has internalized the translation in his mind, even while he admits that the translation works for the bad guys. Neo is doing the opposite.
What is the opposite of "one"? In a sense "everybody else" is an opposite of one. Or just Legion - Many. Thats Smith right there. But you could also argue that zero is the opposite of one, especially in a binary context. Cypher means zero. He is a negative mirror of Neo, but in a different way then Smith. Neo dies saving the crews leader, Cypher dies kiling the crew. Neo defeats impossible odds when he is beginning to belive. Cypher is defeated in an impossible way, clinging to disbelief.

Cypher was 0 because he joined the system knowing it was evil, smith wanted to destroy everything because he felt betrayed by the system and hated humans, Neo was 1 because he saw that humans werent evil, but the system itself made them evil, so he felt the need to save them
Neo explained to the oracle that he was able to stop the sentinels in the real world by “thinking it.” But he didn’t know why. The oracle then explained to Neo that his power extends to the source. “Thinking it” works because his power comes from the source.
Matrix 4... ugh...I'd forgotten about that until watching this.

That's not correct. Sati was born in the Machine City. Her father Rama-Kandra runs the "recycling" operations in the power plant. In other words, he oversees the liquefactionof dead humans to feed intravenously to the humans still living in the pods. Her mother, Kamala, is a program in the Machine City that writes other programs. Specifically she writes interactive software.
Together Rama-Kandra and Kamala decided to create a new program purely out of love instead of with a specific purpose in mind. That program was Sati.
In the Machine City if a program doesn't have a purpose it gets scheduled to return to the source and be deleted. Usually this happens when a program breaks down or if there's a better program to replace it, but in Sati's case she never had a purpose to begin with. She was created out of love rather than need.
So to save her from deletion, Sati's parents make a deal with The Merovingian to smuggle Sati into The Matrix as an exile from the Machine City. Specifically, Rama-Kandra sells the termination code for The Oracle's software shell to The Merovingian in exchange for smuggling Sati into The Matrix. That's the official in-story reason why The Oracle looks different in the third movie.

honestly the way i took neo's powers from the get go were just code manipulation. as to the extent of his powers, they would honestly be limitless. i can lucid dream and it's really interesting. my dreams are usually set in reality of some sort (i realize that sounds like a vague way of saying it's not reality but it is hard to explain in a quick way). as soon as i realize i'm dreaming my brain tries to wake me up (i actually think it's why dreams mimic reality so much, i just subconsciously reject the falsehood). if i manage to realize i'm dreaming and not wake up though, i have complete control over everything, environment, people etc. i can even just want people gone from the dream and they will vanish on the spot. i would assume neo to have that same control since he can access the base programming like someone who's lucid dreaming should be able to.
He realized that he was in a Dream, and that he wasn't in a "real world" as his grand awakening taught him that the matrix is a simulation and it can be broken at will

The integral anomaly is having 2 Architects at the same time, one is former neo one... and the other is the version that will be upgraded by his own choice... The Architect choose to be upgraded... Same as the Oracle with Sati.
He got rebooted, a new program provided by the oracle was installed at Neo, this requieres from him being reboot, literally died and resurrected in order to get the one code running in himself.

Regarding the stopping of bullets, the Merovingian commented that Neo had skill. The Merovingian was surprised by Neo's ability, even though he commented that he knew of and survived Neo's predecessors.
This strongly implies that Neo's path differed from the previous Ones. Neo was recruited and trained by Morpheus. Neo learned "Kung-Fu" and other fighting techniques. He had combat experience.
The other Ones must not have been red pills. They didnt live with the people of Zion prior to gaining powers. They didnt have a mentor like Morpheus.
The wachowski brothers are awsome writers and i know Matrix 4 will be well written especially if you consider it's been many years since matrix3.

When neo talks to cypher it can be seeing the only one chiar pluged in green at the screen below, before cupher turns off the screen.... and neo learn to fly at the moment in elevator with trinity when he saya the spoon doenst exist before he shots ! I think.
He simply changes the matrix codes to what ever he want and that's because he's seeing the matrix for what it really is : codes
I feel like Neo’s “code” is an anomaly because he can give himself Admin status even tho he’s supposed to stay a user in The Matrix.
He doesn’t know or understand what that could mean because Morpheus only knows about Mod status; Therefore Neo wouldn’t know that there’s more that he can do because he’s only seen tiers of Moderators (Agents, Oracle, etc.), but never an Admin...

which isn’t really an Admin considering the Architect is just a program with some preprogrammed administrative powers so it can complete it’s tasks.
It would be like trying to understand how a 5th dimension water droplet would look like under a 3rd Dimensional lens.

A thought just came to me that we see scenes from The Matrix 4 with Neo & Trinity as they are shooting flashback and/or back story elements that weren’t written/shot before needed for the context of the next (4th) chapter... thus they technically aren’t apart of what happens in #4 🤔💭🧐
I think Sati is able to "hotfix" the simulation. Maybe with her, able to make changes at will, they no longer need to reboot.
The character Sati is often overlooked, misunderstood - or both, in my humble opinion. "Sati" means "mindfulness", "memory", or "awareness" in ancient Pali (the language used to write the Pali Canon, the core buddhist texts). Sati, a spiritual psychic faculty, is "indriya" - not only the ability or power to have insight into-, and see ultimate reality (the World as it truly is) with great discernment, but it is also the memory of past lives (within the concept of rebirths, cycles, beginnings and ends, etc.). The character Sati, can only be one of the most fundamental and powerful programs in all of the matrix. She can be seen as a prerequisite for the Oracle and the Architect in their respective ministries. Not as a re-actionary figure, but more as an operator, or agent - near the root of all sequences.
I'm under the impression that sati has always been able to manipulate the matrix, because at no point in any of the films does it show her not being able to do it, only that she's "out of place" which would elude to her having special gifts, even for a program.

i think he didnt realize his powers fully or didnt think of changing the matrix consciously. the first time he used his powers in the real world he passed out for days, but later he uses his powers again and was fine.
I suppose the next 'logical step' would be for him to bend the world to his whim. As he was also taken over by Smith, just like Sati. His code in the Matrix lives on and I suppose he is reincarnated to be pretty much the same and start his journey all over again...I suppose it's like new game +
The question I have always had is how come in the "real world" there is still oxygen to breathe? Could it be that the humans and machines came to a stalemate during the war and have an armistice, as such the humans cleaned the parts of they sky they live under and just left the sky darkened over the machine area? As such the machines perpetuate the history that they won and there is no other place to go other than Zion and perhaps the distances are too far for humans in their ships to go without having to recharge. And to paraphrase Neo, either nobody told them or nobody(other than the machines) know.
What if Neo isn't alive in the real world but saved his and Trinity's Consciousness and stored them in The Matrix were he is trying to help the new anomaly break the cycle
I can tell you how. See even though neo was in the matrix at the time. Humans have a natural capability of telekinesis. All he did was make the energy from the bullet an extension of his own energy to where he could manipulate the program molecules of each one therefore stopping them all in mid air motion. It’s just that simple.
I know this isn't in line with this particular topic but has it ever been considered that there aren't just other versions of the matrix before now but multiple layers to a single matrix...
An example being that what we experience as the matrix itself, Zion, the construct are all a part of the same simulation.. one layered on top of another.
One of the things I never understood is how Neo could directly influence the Matrix itself in ways other people can't. We see him meet kids who have mild influence and one teaches him there is no spoon to visual success. Clearly other users in the Matrix are capable of warping their experience from their perspective. I always saw this as client-side versus server-side. Neo can get shot, but he can decide his heart is still pumping and overcome the pain receptors dialing into his brain. He can even empower himself to fly by warping his influence on the surrounding environment. But to stop bullets mid-air, shatter agent Smith's code, this is assuming power over outside variables from the Matrix. Neo is 'The One', but all that means is that he has source code that can reboot the Matrix, it's never made clear that this 'anomaly' empowers him to directly modify The Matrix as a superuser. Then again, we see him wield power over citizens of Machine City so perhaps it is. It just doesn't get laid out clearly so whenever there's a fight I don't understand why Neo can't easily overpower his opponents. He's not some monk, he's The One, he could probably tank any program and signal any human to unplug and be flushed just by touching them.
I think you should brush up a little bit on how computer programming works but other than that it's a really cool theory. Neo doesn't contain code that allows him to restart the Matrix. Neos code is the anomalous code. His code is used in the retraining of The Matrix neural network each time he goes to the source and the Matrix is rebooted. So each time The architect is closing the gap making The Matrix more stable until eventually the code is bug free and is no longer susceptible to an anomaly. For you gamers out there let's just say it's in beta and you going to the sources him reporting a bug in that bug is his code.

The hand gesture matters. Neo is blocking the input. All input he would experience is block. The glitch manifest and that is what it looks like. He manifest the anomaly in the matrix at that time. Drawing on instances of the impossible. Times in the world where the impossible seems to happen in the real world. Neo is in himself a control. So that impossible events don't happen as often this error is manifest through him. He can not only use this anomaly his the source of it at the same time.
I think the legend of the man born inside of the matrix that can change anything as he sees fits they're speaking of the architect I just got crossed over to the one.

Agreed, i think Neo didn't reach his full potential, this is mainly do to the manipulation of the oracle and the architect, after all, the architect said that if the anomaly is to be left unchecked, it could threaten the system itself, i think that means that Neo can modify the code in a way beyond what we saw in the original trilogy
