Lol, yea John Roberts is the guy who does Linda's voice on the show (those are all the people who do the voices, obviously). John Roberts is a voice actor so that's not how he sounds talking normally tho (although I don't think that's what you meant by saying that's his voice).
It's so weird how when I first started watching this show, the men's voices just sounded really odd and out of place, and now that I'm used to it, they sound really weird coming out of a real man. MINDFUCK.
Hearing the audience scream with laughter virtually every time Tina speaks is a delight. Dan is amazing. They all are. I desperately want to meet this family, even though I know very well it’s impossible 😂 And Linda offering to be in Gene’s “sooooo-OOOOOONG!” honestly brought a tear to my eye… I love Linda so much 😂
Liv Lab no, not bc the character is voiced by a guy, but bc the way the character was presented at the reading just added more personality to her. Seeing him put on the voice is funny to me.
Gene is underrated. Alot of the stuff wouldnt work as well without him. His difference plays out very well with the other kids, all very different, but works so well together. :p
Most of the actors don't change their voice. Bob, Gene, Tina, and Louise, all have the actor's natural voice. Linda is the only character in the main family, whose voice actor deliberately changes his voice.
Yeah it's not all that uncommon for voice actors to have opposite gender roles. Ya know Bart Simpson is played by a woman? It blew me away the first time I found out.
Now you know the voice you will be shocked at how she pops up in voice acting and live action everywhere. Toy Story 3, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Bojack Horseman, Archer, Flight of the Conchords, 30 Rock.. she showed up in Modern Family and think I heard her on the Simpsons.. and that's all off the top of my head. Her voice range is... limited. But she ties them to each character really well.

I stopped in the middle of watching this episode (on Netflix) so I could see the actual actors doing their voices. I didn't know it would be the same episode I was just watching though. I thought that was really weird lol
It's a guy who voices Tina, although Tina (in the show) is a girl. By the way he does look like her lol, but all animated shows/movies ensure characters have a certain resemblance to the person, so their voice doesn't seem out of place and weird.
