- Exploring An Abandoned Chuck E Cheese In Texas. In this video we take a walk through this place to admire what it once was. Sad that the virus was cause for it to close... especially since this was Kayla's childhood Chuck E Cheese.
Disclaimer: Urban exploring can be dangerous. Conditions can be unsafe due to toxic black mold, floors being weak, roof collapse, and possibly people inside that could hurt you. If you explore, do so at your own risk. Be respectful. Do not vandalize. Take nothing, leave nothing but footprints. We just take photos and video and leave the place the way we found it.

This was my Chuck E Cheese! Located in White Settlement. When I was a child, it was a Showbiz Pizza. There was a Toys R Us next door. Would go here every birthday, and than Toys R Us afterwards to spend my birthday money. Been here hundreds of times. All my nieces and nephews had their birthday parties here as well. A shame it’s no more
I think this one closed before covid
@@gradymcclintock3766 It closed sometime after the COVID-19 pandemic started because there's a social distancing sticker on the floor.

Don't forget about the dollar movie place
Same here don't forget about the general cinema dollar theater next door to Toys R Us as well
I just quit my job of 25 years with them. I was a part of the team that closed these locations. Most of the time we were only given 24 hours to clear everything that was reusable at another nearby location and abandon everything else. I was a tech. I spent 25 years keeping these stores running. The show, kitchen, gameroom, and cash areas working. To see it all torn down and discarded broke my heart. I lost a part of my soul doing these shutdowns and I'm glad I took the chance to move on. Your vid gives me a bit of closure about it though. Thanks.

I think one of the saddest parts about this is that some of these locations are OLD. Very old, and were converted/renovated and kept growing as things evolved. Most of the animatronics are EXTREMELY old, and a lot of the locations (I would assume) are as well. I’m really sad at the level of disrespect that vandals have for places like this, old places with good memories.
Thanks y’all for really appreciating it. I’m happy that you were able to enjoy it and capture as much of it as you could before it was taken down. :)
Its wild to think that place, for 30+ years, was thriving with laughing/screaming kids, animatronics talking and singing with tvs playing songs, arcades blasting sounds with tickets pouring out, tokens clanking together, parents talking about their lives, greasy pizza smelling up the air...
Many parties celebrated there, now silent and unfortunately vandalized. Its sad.. thank you for locking the door on the way out and respecting the property. It truly shows that there are still some good people out there.

I did competitive programming at Lockheed from 2017-19 when I was in HS and our teams stayed at the Comfort Inn right across the street. Never went in, but from the entrance we were able to look out all the way down the parking lot to see this place open, and with barely any cars there. I remember there was some place called the "Flight Deck" entertainment center right next to the hotel, along with Toys R Us. Six years later, all three of those are closed and have been replaced by much more boring and industrial businesses. It's probably for the best that they're not abandoned anymore, though. It's better than them being vandalized like we see in this video.
I have no memories with CEC because my childhood was spent at Gatti's and Incredible Pizza Co, but it is disappointing to see not just how these places look when closed but what the ones that are still open have become - bland and lifeless, and lacking much of what originally made them special because of the constant race to the bottom when it comes to costs. They are pretty much kids' casinos instead of lifestyle spaces and places to compete on actual games. Round1 is the only chain left that I think still captures some of that. It's the only place where I think I could spend 12+ hours straight on $100 in credit.
I've gone to this Chuck E. Cheese twice back in 1992 and it was an odd location because it's near the air force base and Ridgemar Mall with Toys "R" Us neighboring it back in the day and there are 2 other locations of Chuck E. Cheese actively still in business including the one across from Hulen Mall and the recently opened location at La Gran Plaza 🍕
I worked at that CEC. Its gone now, huh

Nerd here. So from what I can see most of the vandalism is mostly where the counter was and parts of the kitchen. All the arcade games and anything else in the store was smashed up and destroyed when it closed back in June. The spray paint most likely is from Corp after it closed to "de-brand" items in the restaurant. I've heard stories from other store closings of flooding the kitchen or damaging the property.
From the looks of it, they are probably going to tear this building down. I don’t think it was vandalized at all. Just the franchise owner or corporate got everything that was useful or valuable out and did it fast. It’s listed for sale but I noticed in the video the electrical panels are completely gutted, the games in this place are old, damaged. I seen the ticket munchers in the back look like they been cannibalize since they only use E-tickets now, no point in moving them to another location, they just leave the junk/ trash in that building and have the demolition contractors toss it when the building comes down.
@@ForkLiftCertified They literally never cause that much damage to a wall during closing. Along with all the bottles found near it clearly show that was vandalism
@@ChuckEEntertainment also one spot spray painted. No reason at all for doing that except stupidity.
@@ForkLiftCertified panels being gutted possibly may have been copper thieves, hopefully not though.
@@KC8EWU Nope stop ignoring what I said. When a store closes CEC rippes out game parts and other items for usage at other stores. They left the shells because they were to lazy to actually remove them.
Thanks for the video, wallie! Super awesome find and exploration! As a former cec employee in the past, cec has had many financial issues long before this virus. I had that same problem with loss of hours working for Sears. Even went a week at a time with no hours even when two main trucks still had decent sized loads. One was appliances and large items, other was fashions and smaller items with at first over 2000 pieces per truck. Black Friday sales the store I was at would have two appliance trucks arrive at same time a few diff times. One full and other up too half full with with huge part being customer orders on first one. Got too the the point when I walked (some knew I was pissed and burnt for final time) the main truck was barely a quarter of the trailer. It was that sad as store always had good foot traffic. Even though air conditioning broke down a lot (on back up system as main systems compressor was long seized up) and heat did not work right either. Also had internal flood year before I left due too burst water main

I enjoyed it. Yes it’s sad 😞 to see it closed and vandalized. Oh. The other day the location in Arlington tx off fielder rd closed down due to rent issues and was told there moving to another location in the future. It broke my heart to see it closed. If you have a chance I suggest you do a video of it as well. It was my childhood Chuck E Cheese.
I remember being at the place for the first time... good memories and now....23 years old still remember everything...
Bolting the side doors shut, and making sure no one can get in, is useless if the front door is unlocked
oh my. This is creepy! It also reminds me of FNAF! LOL

FUN FACTS!: This was originally a Showbiz Pizza Place
CECU 1991 was recorded here
The first 2 Stage was installed here
This place had rare phase 4 artwork, many ppl assumed were just protoypes
There was a Toys R Us infront, perfect for a nice birthday
This was my childhood location :), i live in weatherford
I applaud you and Kayla for doing what you do. Sad people want to destroy....keep it sacred in memory. Much love
This Abandoned Chuck E. Cheese reminds me of the Abandoned Toys R us ;-;❤️
The animatronics are coming you need to run of Chuck e cheese
This hurts me very much thxs for rec this
This was my childhood. I had 5 of my birthday parties here. My birthdays tomorrow and it makes me sad that a part of my childhood has gone away.
I was into exploration in my younger days. It always made me sick to see the vandalism that occurs. Especially in historical places like old amusement parks.
White Settlement , TX. The very first two stage location! You saved one of the best to record video of. Thank you!
Finally A Chuck E Cheese!!!!
Good job wallieb26 keep up the content have a Kmartlicious day wallie and Kayla.
When our Toys R Us shut down last year, I about cried. I wish I could have went back one last final time before it looks like this. it looked like a time capsule even before they shut down. They never changed it since it was built! I had so many memories buying sailor moon and pokemon toys. Watching Harry Potter on a little tv in there when the movie was just released on VHS. Being so excited to see there new toys are us exclusive toys. Last time I went there the memories just flooded back. It defiantly was super smaller compared to how I remembered it. Looked so big when I was little. Thanks for this. Chuck E. Cheese defiantly hits so close to home. Sad to see this pandemic take so many amazing businesses. All my favorite restaurants shut down this year unfortunately
I lived 20 minutes from that place it's so weird hearing this big named brand going for bankruptcy especially since this one was relatively "new". There's also an abandoned toys R us right across from it.
these are good people we condone this keeping the memory just pics vids and nostalgic memorys
My local one closed down too
The last time I was in it was in 2018 for a friend birthday
this video made me remember the game of Day Shift at Freddy's 3
i think of into the pit
Gajito Gameplays me too, when Jack goes to the abandoned Freddy's locations.
Stop

I remember going to these places, it was so much fun, I still have my original t shirt with Chuck E on it. I used to always climb to the top tubes and I would never want to leave, time flies when your having fun, and those fun times end too soon. 😭
You guys are so respectful and I love that so much! Thank you for being good people!
