Great video, guys! Just to clarify on your #15, when you retire a character you can check off one box on the prosperity tracker, you do NOT gain an entire level of prosperity as I've seen some people think.
Hey Blake, good to have your support! You are indeed correct. We stuck to the terminology used in the rule book under the 'retirement' section. We hoped this wouldn't confuse people into thinking this is an entire level upgrade.
If i do not want to loose Damage from a Monster oder Poison or Wound-Token i can negate the damage? Does the card from my hand, if i choose to do so, go the lost pile or discard pile?
You can always choose to negate damage, no matter what source of attack, to do so, you'll either lose a card from your hand, or two discarded cards. Hope this helps
Keep in mind that poison just adds a +1 modifier to attacks, so you would negate that along with the main damage from the attack. e.g. if an attack does 3 damage normally and you are on 1 hp and poisoned, you just have to lose one card for the whole attack, not one for the attack and one for the poison. You can also lose a card to negate wound damage. Losing a card does not protect you from additional effects of an attack if that's what you're asking, so if the card says "Attack 1, Poison" you would still be poisoned even if you lost a card. Any cards that are lost to negate damage go to the lost pile, regardless of if it's one card from your hand or two from your discard pile.
Im still confused as to how the END OF ROUND works. It says when all players are out of cards but not all players are out of cards when other are. How do you determine end of round if a player always has 2 cards available to play?? If Hatchet has already LOST 3 cards and the Red Guard has only LOST 1 then Hatchet will be running out of cards and resting before Red Guard is out of cards. There is always a player with 2 cards ready. Im very confused and cannot proceed with my scenario's until I figure it out. Thanks!!!
End of round means end of the players turns, so once you've played two cards or rested, and remaining players have done the same, it's end of your turn then monsters go, then it's end of round. If you can't select two cards or don't have cards in your discard pile to rest, then you're exhausted 👍hope this helps
@@TheCOMICCOMMANDER easy mistake to make, anything else you wanna know, feel free to post on here and either myself or I'm sure @groundhogplay will give you an answer 👍
@@nickpr4787 Dumb question. But Im having a hard time figuring out how the scenario book says at the end of #5 that you should be over 45 EXP now and I am NOT LOL How do you gain that much EXP? Most of the EXP cards LOSE after use and you only get the 6 EXP from 3,4 and 5. Thanks. I imagine the game is a hard grind for EXP but having 45 at the end of #5 seems TOUGH LOL
@@TheCOMICCOMMANDER are you also gaining the quest rewards that state you gain xp? If you're still confused, you're in the right place to be fair, I've learned alot from groundhog play, I suggest you watch the first 5 play throughs and see how they do it 👍

Just to clarify tip number 5! We are discussing summoning spawns, not standard ones ie 'cultist summons normal living bones'

@@nickpr4787 Thank you. I kept thinking End Of Round was when the whole hand was exhausted. I was completely WRONG LOL

The enemy is unaffected 👌
