  • Today we announced some major news…
Perry (BusAd ‘79) and Sheila (Arts ‘80) Vieth have committed $1.5 million to endow the Director for the Center for Real Estate. Andy Hunt (BusAd ‘08, Grad ‘13), who serves in this role, will now be known as the Vieth Director for the Center for Real Estate.
Perry and Sheila have been incredible supporters of the real estate program and students for many years, including establishing a $100,000 endowment for the Center, donating more than $1 million to support the new College of Business Administration Centers of Excellence space (offices and student lab), and now this game-changing step in ensuring long-term leadership for our Center.
All of this lands on top of Perry joining the Center for Real Estate advisory board in 2018, attending the August 2018 strategic planning board retreat, donating the hops and malt for specially-brewed beers at our first Golden Eagle Gala in 2019, and most recently joining the REAP Investment Committee. Sheila has also been incredibly active at Marquette, serving with Perry on the Parents and Family Leadership Council and the President’s Advisory Council. She is a true mentor and advisor on helping us constantly push the bar higher for our student experience.
On behalf of our entire Marquette community, please join us in thanking Perry and Sheila and celebrating this monumental gift, which will support our students and alumni in perpetuity!
