Beautiful as usual, clever idea on how to make the flower. Please share the chocolate ganache recipe😊❤
Thanks! It is just 3 parts, high-quality chocolate to 1 part melted butter.
Sorry 2 parts not 3
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very good testy recipes ❤❤
Thank you again Mary just love your work. I have a question I am going to do the edible acrylic pour cake for my son’s 50th. I noticed with this cake you have just you didn’t freeze the glacé, but placed on the cake and then put in the freezer. Can you do the same with the edible acrylic pour cake?
Unfortunately, you do have to freeze it. The mirror glaze doesn't set up fast like the butter ganache does. I wish it did!
Hi thank you for the tutorial! I would like to know that when you use ganache to cover your cakes, do you use whipped ganache or just regular chocolate and cream and let it set? What is the ratio for the ganache?thank you for your help 💐💐💐
I actually prefer butter now. It sets up water faster, and I like the buttery taste and feel. I let it set up in the fridge. The white chocolate is a 2 to 1 ratio using the highest quality chocolate at the grocery store.
Thank you so much.💐💐💐💐
What brand do you use for gold luster dust. It's beautiful gold
Thanks! I like Truely Mad Plastics the best.
How long would that leftover gold leaf last on the counter? I am just thinking about what to do with all that leftover gelatin that wasn’t painted onto the silicone, and wonder if it would be ok to just make more gold leaf for future or just use the gelatin for another purpose
I wish I could answer that for sure. But I haven't tested that out yet. I do have the extra in a zip lock at the studio, and I will keep an eye on it. I guess it is being tested right now;)
Mary do you flavor your gelatin for gold leaf?
I have not because I have only used it for tutorials, but you can! You can sub some of the water for any clear juice.
Can you please share the chocolate buttercream recipe and also for the gold leaf gelatine recipe
The chocolate ganache is 2 parts high-quality white chocolate to 1 part melted butter. Put the chocolate into the hot butter and stir until combined. For the gold leaf, just follow the instructions on the gelatin container;) Brush it thinly on a Silicone mat and dry brush the gold luster dust with a fluffy brush. Let it dry overnight.
@@sophisticakesbymary Thank you 😍
@@sophisticakesbymary Warum hast du so viel Gelatine gemacht, du hast nicht viel davon aufgebraucht für das Gold? Danke für deine Antwort
