What is 'Straya 80s'? It was nowhere near 400K at this show. More like somewhere between 137k-200K. Either way, it was the largest crowd to attend a Kiss concert, up to that point.

The crowd was so huge it made Gene Simmons a nervous wreck, and you can hear it in his singing.
Might be that the audience was so loud Gene and Paul had to scream into the mics to be heard. That wears down the voice quite fast.
