this is why when people say the original line up is the best i have to say no, Carr was a far better rick drummer than peter. Peter just woldn hit the damn drums like he was mad at them. watch eric carr play, he is playing with his shoulders, peter played with his wrist. and man it sounds like it too now to be fair, i believe an elevator shaft was used for recording some of the durm parts to make the sound so huge.
@@bigsarge8795 I play guitar. And how hard you dig in to the instrument adds its own character. Drums are the same. Maybe even more so. You can hit a Tom and mic it up the a certain volume. You can really hit that same tom mic it to the same volume. But sound is different. Hitting hard give it a bit more of a frazzled sound. Or simply the sound wave is a different shape. How you play is as important as what you play. Eric was a rock drummer. He hit hard and pushed his instrument. Peter was tagging the drums with his sticks but it did sound as aggressive.
Eric was one badass dude! I mean he looks like he was born for this band. And he never overplayed his drum parts even though his musical capabilities exceeded far beyond most drummers of his era. RIP Fox!!
This song is truly evil and demonic and worshipping the Devil. Look at the video of How KISS(Knights/Kids/Kings In Satan's Service) corrupts a person here. They are truly from the pits of Hell and the Lake of Fire and agents of the Devil Himself. They are Evil Incarnate.

Truly an end of an era. Kiss were a band for 50 long years. Like them or not, there's no denying that Kiss were one of the biggest bands in not just rock music, but in all of music, and the fact that they were together for 50 years is truly commendable. The vast majority of bands don't make half as long as they did.
They really weren’t that big if you look at album sales. No album sold more than two or three million. They made up for their minimal popularity with a loyal to die for fanbase, the key to their success. I’m a Bob Dylan fan , been to one of his concerts. Average kisss fans see multiple kiss shows.

I NEVER remember Ace's hair that short. Not many appearances in the video.
this is the 1st KISS song I loved without even knowing who sang it - it was strictly for it's melodies, chorus & lyrics. It took me a year later to realise that KISS sang it.
They are the gods of rock!! They belong up there with Led Zeppelin, Queen, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and the rest of Rock Legends. Rock and Roll Forever!!!
I moved away from the hood in 1986 to pursue a corporate career. But I used to go back once a week to visit my mother. One day near my old house I saw a childhood friend, watering his lawn. He still lived in the house he grew up in. I stopped and we talked. I promised to come by and drink some beer with him and listen to KISS. But I never got around to it. A few years later he died. I will always regret that we didn't spend some time together, drinking and listening to KISS really loud and talking about how fun life was, back in the day.
Playing this today in the Car who doesn't Love It Loud.Like it at the end how it zooms down quietly thinking the songs finished than it booms to the end.Nice TV and MTV that guy watching before he gets absorb by it and Kiss.To be blessed and part of the greatest decade of all time never to forget miss it so much oh hail the 80s atmosphere could harp on and explain vibes and feelings like no other time or place in history

+EgyptianMinor Yeah! Could not agree more! This album made really start playing drums, both because Carr was a good drummer, but just as much cos of the sound...
+EgyptianMinor Another great album from 1982 with that HUGE Bonham sound is 'Pictures at Eleven' by Robert Plant, particularly in the songs where Cozy Powell plays.
I was lucky enough to see all the original members back in '99, when I was 15. That was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I could not see them now, just because they've aged and I just don't like Tommy Thayer's playing (not sure if that's his name lol). I wish I could have seen them in the 80's though, with Eric Carr and Bruce in the band, god those looked like prime events. I really wish I was a teen in the 70's or 80's, before all this tech was around and you HAD to go to a concert to experience rock music, instead of daydreaming on youtube lol
John yeah I agree with you about RUclips and all I wanted to but the guns n roses Chinese democracy album with my money and my mum said no you can't why would you pay for it when you can listen to it on RUclips god that annoyed me
I am 18 now, so obviously I didn't have the chance to see KISS in their best era, but I saw them in 2013 and although the performance had some flaws (mostly Paul's voice) I still consider that night one of the best in my life. KISS is just a lifetime experience.
This is LONG before my time, but I find the concept of KISS’s music corrupting the teens pretty awesome. This seems to be directly playing into and mocking the fear of the parents of that generation.
It's such a Joy seeing Eric Carr in all the Kiss videos he's been apart of. You can tell he enjoyed the gig he had,he wasnt just a hired gun but a beloved kiss member.
Dude that turret in the background looked badass!!! Imagine seeing that in a tank and the body of the tank had 20 inch spikes all around it and on the turret to, except were u go to get out.
Eric Carr's drumming is what makes this song stand out. The drumming is the centerpiece of this song right from the beginning, when that's all you hear, to the very end.
Kiss was my entry way into the rock genre, i was a freshman in high school at the time. Im close to graduation, and i never thought this was a genre that would be a part of my life, and im glad it is. The power of rock music is strong. The way it connects to the soul is just amazing. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I've broken 11 drum heads, and shattered 23 drumsticks while trying to make my drums sound like that lol (makes sense because I was hitting them with full force)
Yeah, Kiss sounds kinda fabricated nowadays. Doesn't have the same talent such as Ozzy, for example. But you may disagree of course, that's just my opinion.

i know, he was such a good drummer. Ace was pretty upset about his death too because he eventually befriended Eric. But Eric will always be remembered.
You don't know how to count properly. Where is 0,1%? It's Justin Bieber. Girls' band, nothing more. The performers are feminine, all their masculinity is played out

this is the 1st KISS song I loved without even knowing who sang it - it was strictly for it's melodies, chorus & lyrics. It took me a year later to realise that KISS sang it.
Confirmo eso y entiendo bien tu portugués XD

Eu fazia o Eric Carr. Época muito boa :D
This song, and the Creatures of the Night album, is Kiss’ most criminally underrated work.
The elder is underrated comparated with another underrated albuns
@@weariedpluto24 The Elder is a good candidate for the most underrated album not just of KISS, but of all time.
It's rated very highly. Where have you been?
I think 80's Kiss in general is underrated.
>Exists The elder and Carnival of souls
KISS kicked ass on this banger. The beat is relentless, enhanced by the vocalists. Intense, ear bleeding R&R 🎸 .. I love it
I grew up in junior high and senior high with these guys, I'm 62 and still rock!!!
ME TOO 🤘
🤘🎼🎵🎶🎸
62 ain't even close to old. Turn it up!!!!
They are the gods of rock!! They belong up there with Led Zeppelin, Queen, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and the rest of Rock Legends. Rock and Roll Forever!!!
They had their own way of doing anything they wanted to do and they did it who makes rules
No way
Agree. They have their place in Rock and Roll history.
Agree! You have an amazing choice in rock legends..
They don’t care. They have been livin for the fullest
Let’s all just appreciate these killer drums here
Oh yeah thats good
One of the very best songs & videos ever made!
My favorite Kiss song!
Goosebumps everytime
yep "I love it"
Yes a awesome group did alot of great songs ❣️
I moved away from the hood in 1986 to pursue a corporate career. But I used to go back once a week to visit my mother. One day near my old house I saw a childhood friend, watering his lawn. He still lived in the house he grew up in. I stopped and we talked. I promised to come by and drink some beer with him and listen to KISS. But I never got around to it. A few years later he died. I will always regret that we didn't spend some time together, drinking and listening to KISS really loud and talking about how fun life was, back in the day.
Man the drumming on this is the heaviest I've ever heard.
Well Eric Carr made that possible may he Rest in Peace
Gregory Alan Bailey Agreed, he was double hamming the drums kkk
+Jesus Alvarado That's not Peter Criss on the drums here? I didn't know.

Never really listened to Kiss. This rocks! I especially like the chorus.
Are we gonna ignore Eric Carr respectfully blowing our ass up with his drumming skills, I still feel the walls shaking from the Fox'es beats 🤘
when he said: yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
I really felt that😌

@Sky Did You Rock And Roll All Nite And Party Everyday?
It curls my toes every time Gene Simmons says "I love it" in that deep, deep voice!!!
I’m so happy my dad taught me about good music when I was young I’m 14 now and still enjoy listening to kiss, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Guns and Roses and Ozzy Osborne over most modern day rappers lol, he turned his daughter into a younger version of him
I hear ya sister. It was the same with me and my dad. I'm also 14 and still listening to rock. Thank you Dad.
Damn same here
Danm kids making me feel old😭. Anyways keep up Rockin! 🤘

Fantastic drummer 🥁
Rest in Power 🤘
My name is Roseli, is you?
Culpa do Eric Carr rs.
I love this song, it's so good that it makes you want to sing, I really love Kiss's music
My favorite band!
'Creatures of the Night' = Kiss' most underrated album - incredible sound; drums as close as anyone will ever get to John Bonham's sound.
+EgyptianMinor Yeah! Could not agree more! This album made really start playing drums, both because Carr was a good drummer, but just as much cos of the sound...
+EgyptianMinor very thoughtful and insightful comment. couldn't agree with you more.
+EgyptianMinor Another great album from 1982 with that HUGE Bonham sound is 'Pictures at Eleven' by Robert Plant, particularly in the songs where Cozy Powell plays.
Is Adriano Celentano in yo' profile pic ?
Dio Cane Is that a crime?
I was lucky enough to see all the original members back in '99, when I was 15. That was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I could not see them now, just because they've aged and I just don't like Tommy Thayer's playing (not sure if that's his name lol). I wish I could have seen them in the 80's though, with Eric Carr and Bruce in the band, god those looked like prime events. I really wish I was a teen in the 70's or 80's, before all this tech was around and you HAD to go to a concert to experience rock music, instead of daydreaming on youtube lol
Same here man, I just wish....
John I wish Eric and Bruce were in now not Singer and Thayer. But unfortunately Carr's not with us.😿
John yeah I agree with you about RUclips and all I wanted to but the guns n roses Chinese democracy album with my money and my mum said no you can't why would you pay for it when you can listen to it on RUclips god that annoyed me
I am 18 now, so obviously I didn't have the chance to see KISS in their best era, but I saw them in 2013 and although the performance had some flaws (mostly Paul's voice) I still consider that night one of the best in my life. KISS is just a lifetime experience.
John
This is LONG before my time, but I find the concept of KISS’s music corrupting the teens pretty awesome. This seems to be directly playing into and mocking the fear of the parents of that generation.

It's such a Joy seeing Eric Carr in all the Kiss videos he's been apart of. You can tell he enjoyed the gig he had,he wasnt just a hired gun but a beloved kiss member.
True
also a damn fine drummer
hes dead i think peter criss was better but he got kickef off bcause or drugs
Are you kidding me? Peter Criss was about 10 tiers below Eric Carr as a rock drummer. It wasn't even close.
Eric Carr was to drumming what Betty White is to drumming.
At my wedding, my husband and I made our grand entrance to this song 🤘🏻🤘🏻
You are the coolest person on Earth.
What a pretty breathtaking woman ,hello my darling ?
Holy shit, that's AWESOME!!!!
BIG DRUMS!!!! TURN IT UP LOUD!!!! HELL YEAH!!!! 👊✌👍✊💪
Dude that turret in the background looked badass!!! Imagine seeing that in a tank and the body of the tank had 20 inch spikes all around it and on the turret to, except were u go to get out.
Type 5 Heavy.
This song introduced me to heavy metal. Thanks forever, Kiss!
Eric Carr's drumming is what makes this song stand out. The drumming is the centerpiece of this song right from the beginning, when that's all you hear, to the very end.
i always felt i was gene simmons voice
Yeah it sounds so fucking awesome!!!
Yeah Gene's voice really stands out ! Thats what makes this song great !
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!
Yes indeed kick ass drums Rest In Peace Eric Carr
One of the best kiss songs🤘🤘
i agree. i like when gene sings. its more bad ass.
My opinion is this is the best kiss song
Kiss was my entry way into the rock genre, i was a freshman in high school at the time. Im close to graduation, and i never thought this was a genre that would be a part of my life, and im glad it is. The power of rock music is strong. The way it connects to the soul is just amazing. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Creatures is Kiss' best album, their heaviest, most aggressive and epic sound they have ever had.
totaly agree
I really like this album, but it was their worst selling album at the time.
Indeed it is, i still have the LP stored ...
Yup! War Machine...great record!
no...no it was was't..Music was their worst selling album..hell Creatures has even out sold Monster
this is one of those songs that will be on my play list till my final breath, Never stop rockin!
RIP to Eric Carr one of the best drummers KISS ever had he passed away from cancer 30 years ago today :(
RIP EC
The drums!!!
One of their best songs!
Eric's just beating the living hell out of the drums
Eric carr is beating the hell out of the drums like chris brown did to rihanna
I've broken 11 drum heads, and shattered 23 drumsticks while trying to make my drums sound like that lol (makes sense because I was hitting them with full force)
Thats what drummers do
@@FrehleyFan3988 Did you Really?

There ain't no other music like it thank God I grew up in the 80s. The music today totally sucks the big one
Me as a teenager: 'I love it loud!!!" Me in my 50's: 'It's too loud, turn it down!'
Your profile pic looks like Matthew Santoro. Coincidence?? I THINK NOT!!!!
@@maxxard7992 I just checked......yeh you're right. And we're both Canadian too, lol.
Yeah, Kiss sounds kinda fabricated nowadays. Doesn't have the same talent such as Ozzy, for example. But you may disagree of course, that's just my opinion.
If it's to loud your to old!!!! 50 plus and still "Love it loud".... Don't stop rockin,or the big D. wi'll get ya before ur time!!!!
GUITAR LESSONS - BobbyCrispy my dad is 54 and he still loves this group and listens to it loud
If it's to loud, it's not loud enough ❤❤

Stand up, you don't have to be afraid
Get down, love is like a hurricane

Guilty till I'm proven innocent
Whiplash, heavy metal accident
Rock on, I wanna be the president, 'cos
I love it loud, I wanna hear it loud, right between the eyes
Loud, I wanna hear it loud, I don't want to compromise
Turn it up, hungry for the medicine
Two fisted to the very end
No more treated like aliens, we're not gonna take it
No lies, no more alibis
Turn it up got me hypnotized, rock on, won't be tranquilized cos'
