- Today's video we install R8 Coils and ID1050X injectors. This will give me a lot more flexibility and room to grow. The next weak link will be the fuel system. That will be in the future.

1nz coils work too , it will plug into the stock 1jz igniter and the tachometer should work too,

What do you gap the plugs at? Just installed mine with stock ecu but will be upgrading to ecu master classic
.020 or .022 in that range. Some will say that’s to tight but I’m running 32 psi so it works for me.
Does the stock 1jz cover fit? I’d really like to keep the cover on..

What is the Dwell on the R8 coils? .. I'm using a ECU master EMU also
Assuming your at 14 volts while running. 1.7 ms. Then you have to fill in the rest of the graph. If you message me on ig I’ll send a pic. @the_hated_1j
Both ground goes to chassy/head ground? Or ecu ground? Where you pulling the 12v from to the r8? A fuse box or relay?
A relay that turns on with the ignition.

How did you do the wiring to these coils with the ecumaster? Just straight into the ecu?
Yep. They are smart coils.
What did you use to mount the Audi Coils into the JZ.
Nothing. I just seated them on the plugs and that’s it. Haven’t had any issues yet. But I also don’t daily it either.
