I like Sparkle's JP voice because I like VA Reina Ueda, her voice is soo adorable!!
EN went for a villainous direction for Sparkle, which is understandable since she's perceived as an antagonist
KR is abit too happy go lucky
JP and CN, are taking the lead, JP even more so with her VA emphasizing on her fake innocence and mischief via her voice in her Ult

CN's direction gives her more devious and sinister vibe, most likely because they wanted to portray her as a villain since she's a Masked Fool (well, let's not forget that she's racist when she first interacted with Aventurine in the mission), but I think it's more of a balance between devious and sinister, and mischievous and playful
JP is good but I think the direction is more on mischievous and playful vibe, EN's on the spot but I assume it was more on the devious and sinister direction instead, KR uh..similar to JP but it was rather higher than JP in comparison
So basically to simply put it, CN=EN>JP>KR (a bit hard for the ranking tbh)
I actually like the direction they gave her in JP, since they made her sound kinda unhinged and disconnected from reality. KR is just corny tho
English is the better for me. give me the crazy girl vibe
yeah. they all sound like cool evil psycho in the trailers (JP, CN, EN), but then here they sound just like cute girls.. (KR, JP, CN (but CN ult is still cool). EN still retains her the cool side that i like.
But yes, coolness aside, they all still sound nice

You guys are so biased lol the English voice matches her personality perfectly. A mix of a cute forefront and then her voice gradually becomes more like a psycho

yea, i use jp dub myself but this is my first time i couldn't stand a character's voice, so i downloaded the en dub and ever since then my hsr experience has peaked
Yes an English VA enjoyer, imho the JP VA overdone the voice, its impressive at first but the longer you hear it the more irritating it becomes, the voice feels too "artificial" and forced.. ENG tones it down, and she actually sounds like a psycho instead of trying to be one, my only nitpick with ENG VA is she sounds too angry in some voice lines, but nonetheless really like the non high pitched delivery

Jp and Kr just give the same "cute girl" voice as most anime girls. So to me tbh CN > EN>KR>JP. KR for some reason feels as even though its just the anime cute girl voice still has a 1 up on Jp.

in my personal opinion, I’ve never been a fan of hsr’s English casting 😭 the only voice I liked in English was jingyuan and kafka. i absolutely despise bronya’s english voice (the actress is good, It just doesn’t fit bronya) i don’t know what it is, they just don’t hit the spot for me. and before you say I’m just a “typical weeb” I play genshin on english and hi3 on CN

JP & CN have the exactly tones which fit Sparkle very well imo.
ENG is as great as those two but sounds a little too mature and try hard sometimes.
KR is too unbearable to hear, sorry. (Although it nailed on Sparkle’s immaturity aspect)

No it doesn’t lol. The Japanese one doesn’t even have a slightly devious tone, it’s more cutesy which really isn’t her character. For English she starts off with a cute tone then she changes to psychotic at the end of a statement more suitable for her character
And it’s also so annoyingly high pitch
