Thank-you! I had a local guy laser engrave 'cameron' into the wood.
What grit are you using on the belt sander after the paint removal?
Green skotchbrite belt
What was the clear that you brushed the putter with?
Hmm, I didn't brush it with any clear. After bluing I soaked it in penetrating oil? Is that what you're talking about?
It helped when I turned the CC on, it was Cold Blue. What do you think about a torch? I’m trying to restore a studio design 1. First try didn’t go so good.

That's 180! You'll need a regulator and experiment with pressures FYI.

What do you call the brown tape that you wrapped around the putter grip?
Leather grip tape
Looks great but I'm not sure about that wood panel on the back of that putter.

Is that Scotty nickel plated? It’s hard to believe it came out of the nickel stripper bath that clean if it was.
Yes, it was. Stripped to bare CS. The bath was to remove any remaining nickel plating, or else the bluing would not work well. A lot of the nickel was already removed while buffing.
@@kramerdesigncoI’m just getting started but any nickel plated putters I’ve tried to strip (specifically Tear Drops) come out of the bath dark black where any nickel remains, and even after I sand off the black there’s still nickel underneath. How long do you leave it in the bath?
@@kramerdesigncoI have a feeling your sandblaster is much better than what I’m using too and that may be getting a lot of it off.
