I saw a fella by the name of 'Angry Sturgeon' do this on instagram, so I had to give it a go. I really hope my uncle Bob Izumi loves this.

I once spent 12 hrs and 8 dollars making my own lure similar to yours. I went fishing and on the 3rd cast I snagged and lost the lure. I now buy all my fishing gear at yard sales and have never paid more than 50 cents for a lure. Note: I have yet to lose one of my yard sale lures!! The cheaper they are the harder they are to lose!!!!

I’m working on a Scotty Cameron TE I3 right now. I think the body is made of carbon steel, and has a black oxide finish. I want to remove the finish it has now so I can torch finish it, but I’m not sure how to remove the finish. Would a muriatic acid bath work for this?

    • @kramerdesignco

I don't think the muriatic acid will work for that. It's an oxide layer, so you would remove it like you would rust. Bead blast is how I remove it. Follow my golf channel if you like this sort of stuff. Thanks youtube.com/@deusgolfco?si=xXgyYexG1XX_kVue
