Jokic post game 1 interview asked what adjustments Denver needed to make for game 2 was a long pause then "duplicate clone myself"
Biggest trouble the Nuggs have been in. Joker knows he didnt see an out-of-their- heads fluke game 1.
Great pointing out the road to rings aren’t the same.
Jokic went 3-12 with 4TO against KAT with also cero Shooting fouls.
If KCP cant slow down ANT, this series is over. They may come a time where they need both Watson and Aaron Gordon on the court, then we will see if Jokic can carry a defensively slanted line up offensively.
Jokic will do Jokic things (and he has) but Murray and MPJ are key for Denver
KCP aint much different than Watson, and still Jokic, Murray, and MPJ are all mostly offensive players. In theory, if great offense beats great defense, like all pros talk say, then Denver 3 stars have more firepower, but Murray has been very inefficient in the playoffs so far.
TBH Im just sad we are probably seeing the peak of this season right now in the west semis, Nuggets x Wolves is going to be way better than the finals, since the East is a lot weaker.

Data: last 6 games (not including last night game one) KAT has PLAYED against Jokic (When JOKIC is guarded by KAT) Jokic has averaged only 37% with only 5 shooting fouls, the lowest in the league during that period, being Alperen Sengun the far behind second place with Jokic averaging 49 FG% on him.
Jokic went 3-12 with 4TO against KAT on game one.
Note: KAT did very good game 1 Also, much better than Gobert.

Every time the Nuggets tried to apply more doubles or pressure on ANT, KAT started poppin off and then NAZ. Sprinkled in there with 18-20 points after Halftime was Conley knocking down 3’s

I just don’t expect the wolves bench to play as bad as they did to start the series in the 1st half. ANT should have another chance to win this game at the end and hes been the best playoff 4th Q scorer, so I assume he will continue to get it done.

Respect is earned. Every team that had to break through went through this. T Wolves ain't unique. I personally think they can win this series, but the Nuggets have earned the right not to be second guessed. It would be surprising if the Wolves win the next 3, not surprising if the Nuggets win this in 6... Anyone saying the Twolves will sweep isn't giving the Nuggets the respect that they have earned
Everyone is second guessed, Lebron and KD and Curry, etc, you get caught slippin and you get the guessin. A lot of Nuggs fans wasnt taking this run all that serious and might have been looking ahead to Dallas(which is rich given they have to beat OKC first)

I think we are about to see an all time Joker game tonight.. Murray obviously isnt 100% and the Nuggets need Jokic to step up. It'll surprise me if Joker doesnt dominate the game tonight. Denver has nobody that can stop Ant & Malone knows that. I think he focuses on shutting down the others.Its gonna be a great series 🔥

It is true that there's no point guard in this team but at least we have no liabilities defensively that can be attacked (Murray) or undersized defenders (kcp).
This lineup can switch everything and counteract Minnesota's length.
Braun and Watson could switch onto Ant. Holding him to 30ppg would be a success in my view. We have to take away Conley and Reid and our backcourt would be able to do so.
On the bench we need

Jordan
Murray can score way more easily by playing against Minnesota's bench and leading the second unit. We need DJ to play to mitigate Naz Reid rebounding. The Jon of the defense is primarily defend and tire Minnesota.

A few arrogant fans does NOT represent the Minnesota fan base. The reality is every team has a few of these outliers but wolves fans are mostly very humble and just happy to be here because our past has been so terrible. We respect the Nuggets allot! Get off this whole Jokic vs Rudy take. This is a Jokic vs Kat series. I am sure the Nuggets want to get Rudy on him, but that is such a small percentage occurance for how much attention it gets in your coverage.
