I don't get it either. I don't know why someone would go into an area as pristine as that and leave rubbish behind. I don't know what goes in their heads and they obviously don't care about anyone but themselves. I bet they'd love it if people dumped rubbish in their front yards. Luckily for people like Foresty.

Do you guys really not get why people do this? Hint: It's not apathy. Apathy would mean if you told them to take their garbage with them, they'd do so. Sadly a certain portion of the human race are just selfish, self-centered pigs. In these post covid times many people now see a list of reasonable rules and deliberately ignore or disregard them because they are 'tired of being told what do do'. They act like petulant children. This is absolutely not unique to North America.

I’m almost 72 and have been doing backcountry travel since I was 17. Mostly hubby and I traveled in a 4wd pickup with a bed in the back and really used to push the boundaries. Now we have a van that we’ve outfitted ourselves. But at our age we have to be more cautious ‘cause we can’t hike out too many miles if we get stuck. So I wanted to tell you how much I absolutely LOVE traveling vicariously with you! I admire you so much for your adventurous nature, honesty, care for nature (cleaning up after ding-dongs!) and perseverance! Some of your adventures have my hair standing on end, but the beauty you show us is so incredible, I sit in front of the screen exclaiming “OMG, just look at that!!!!!!!”. THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I love the natural world so much and every minute of it you show us! Just please be careful! ❤❤❤❤

Been across the pass a few times. If you do go across again, drone the glaciers. The weather is hit and miss, lots of clouds and mist. Great job cleaning up the litter. Lookin forward to next adventure.

Thanks to Rocko for changing my attitude about Jack Russel terriers! My niece had one that always drove me nutz, but Rocko is the perfect mountain climbing companion.
Five stars for your production and video films! A step beyond all the other blogger attempts to project "adventures" and lightly clad "girl alone with dog" shows.

Thanks for once again cleaning up after those ding dongs. My travels around the US and Canada have convinced me that these ding dongs exist everywhere. I honestly can't fathom how someone can deliberately spoil such beautiful outdoor areas.
My overlanding buddy and I both carry trasharoo type cargo bags strapped to our spare tire and bring along gloves, heavy duty trash bags, and grabber tools to clean up sites we visit. We need to add strong magnets to our tool set to collect the nails left behind from people burning wood pallets.
Our biggest haul so far was four large trash bags worth of trash along with an abandoned broken child's ride-on toy at a primitive campsite in Vermont. We brought our haul to the nearest open reclamation center where we had to pay to dispose of what the ding dongs left behind in the woods.
We can only hope that there are more folks that will clean up spoiled outdoor areas than there are those who would ruin them by leaving their trash behind. Unfortunately, I think the ding dongs have us outnumbered.

OUTSTANDING! I guess one of the problems with a route like that is, that if you make it through, now you've got to do it again to get out! Another fun adventure Simon! And as usual, your videography and drone footage is second to none!
