This song brings me back to my earliest memories of rock radio. Back in the mid-nineties, Much Music in Canada put out these albums called "Big Shiny Tunes" full of the latest alternative hits. I believe this was on the 2nd instalment of those albums and it was huge here. Everyone had a copy of that album, including me and I got to listen to this song lots! At the time I didn't know the song was about sex and drugs... in fact I likely wouldn't have known what those things were at that point... but this one was always my favourite. Super catchy, fast and rhythmic vocal delivery. Really well written tune. Enjoy!

A person can know all the lyrics, hit every note, and play it precisely. But, with out keeping the energy of a 'high energy' song. It can fizzle out, and fall flat.
But not you! The same expressive energy at the end as when you first started. I love it!

The simplicity of the chord progression definitely belies how hard this song is. Fantastic job man. The singing cadence is all over the place and unlike so many modern songs most of the lyrics are unique and not repeated. Basically I'm just saying this is hard to play and sing and you nailed it.

Every single cover Corey has made, there is always at least one comment about how hard it is to play and sing, no matter the song, but really, it is nothing more than muscle memory, once the guitar part is down, it's easy, any decent musician can do that, it's not some sort of magic 🙂

Would love to see your cover. Maybe you are great but right now you are just a comment massing millions of people into a lump that can basically cover any song because it's just that easy.
