This is one of the best covers I’ve ever heard. You guys sound great. You kept the original sounds and tried to sing it and play it as close to the original as possible. You didn’t try to change it up like so many people do with covers.

Man. Not really into 3eb or anything, but Semi-Charmed Life is one of those fun songs you should just go ape shit to. This is a fantastic cover, wish the crowd was getting more belligerent.

this song is hard to cover and I’ve karaoke this song a few times plus the song “jumper” the songs are NOT EASY bc it’s speed and tempo is very fast unlike some of their 3EB songs

Stephan Jenkins could only dream of performing this great. I'm a huge 3eb fan, but this is a case where the cover band kills the original group.

bro exactly. i got a huge surprise when i saw the drummer started with the starting beats
I am shocked that people are saying things like "best cover of this song". They play it faster, which is fine, but the singers voice doesn't have enough energy to pull it off. The lead guitarist messes up the line in the second verse. They play the wrong chord progression during the part when they sing "one, now you hold me, now we're broken." I mean they sound good, and they are a pro band, but these things matter when you want to make judgements about how great the cover sounds.
I like to imagine they are Kendall and Shiv from Succession
This is very good. I'm going to perform this very song just before finishing school this year, so I checked this out for inspiration on how to perform it as good as possible. The only thing I will try to do different, I think, is during the calm chorus. In my opinion, there weren't enough energy in the "goodbye" part, so I will try to reach more of a climax. I guess you could compare it to Dance Gavin Dance's version of the song if you're open to all sorts of music. Some people do not like screaming, so if you haven't heard it and can't stand screaming. Stay away. Otherwise it's a good example, and a good cover at that :D

This is what happens when you dumb down every single part and don't remain faithful to the original. You get a lame "cover" that is D.O.A. with ZERO energy! On the other hand, for a live recording it is mixed well.
