THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!! 🥹✨ - I have a huge smile on my face right now. You even talked about my story and I so appreciate YOUR attention to detail. I am so so thankful to you and this whole community. I had a lot of support during my time building this, I couldn't have done it without it. Hoping with this theme I can inspire a new wave of themers and we can see a lot of awesome stuff in REAPER 7 coming up! 💪 I am currently writing and making as many videos about everything I learnt about my theming experience, so hopefully that can make this whole thing more accessible 💙
Honestly we are so blessed to have all these content creators for Reaper, I wonder if that stems from Reaper being made as a DAW for the "people", a non predatory business model with the customer first. I think that environment is a big reason why we have all these amazing channels, from you to Kenny and Alejandro etc. It truly makes the experience of jumping into a DAW for the first time a lot less intimidating, or it did for me back then.
As a former PT user, I love the “AVID” theme that I’m able to overlay on a Reaper. My brain thinks I’m using PT but don’t have to deal with all the crashing.
I've been using Imperial White Tie for.... a long time. The main reason is where the buttons are. It has several different views for each element which allow you to customize different things. As much as themes seem like they are aesthetic, there are good reasons to change them up to get buttons in places that improve workflow. Plus, the SSL console look is pretty cool. I also customized it further, borrowing other elements from other themes to improve the visuals overall. This theme actually has some really cool workflow edits as well so great job on the theme design by Reapertips.
Alejandro of @Reapertips is bringing a lot the community, not to mention TUKAN and others. Bless all these fellas and let's pay them all few cups of coffee.
Me: "Myk sure is saying _color_ a lot right now... " Myk: "I definitely used the word _color_ way too many times in that sentence" And that's why I'm a subscriber 😂 Also because the content is great. 😉
Thanks for this little exposé. I need to be force-fed new ideas these but somehow this was really tasty. Given my reluctance to change I doubt that I'd have stumbled upon this theme on my own.
yep..he did really a good job with this theme. I do have quite a few favorites I even payed to get the concept six collection. I do like to switch from time to time. For now Alejandro's is running smooth
@@LetsTalkAboutReaper haha, yes does it ever go fast! plus the 90's were the start of every new, we left behind glam metal :) I Know I had do a double take when I realized I ran it on a 486 for midi only.
@@jason.martin Me too. Originally I was on Ataris mid 90s then switched to PC around 97. Cubase on a 486 Win 95 PC with a Soundblaster Live Platinum was so unstable at first, but improved with Cubase VST32 on a Pentium Win 98. Blimey, this makes me feel well old! When I switched to reaper in 2006 I was so ingrained with Cubase shortcuts that to this day my customisations still incorporate them, even though I can hardly get around a modern version of Cubase now, it's changed so much since then.
03:28 TCP RIGHT SIDE this is something I ask since ages to Cockos ... as well as the send/return also to the right and in a separate column as well. I hope Alejandro will not disappear as the author of Smooth6
thank you for this. does this indent automation lanes? i find it very annoying when themes don't do that. do you happen to know of any functional, good looking dark themes that do this by default?
HELP! When I use tempo mapping in ezD3 then drag drum track to reaper the tempo mapping does not follow? Is there setting in reaper I have to change? Love your channel it’s been a massive help!😊
Why do your Reapertips Theme files say zip at the end and mine dont? Did i do something wrong? Everything still works and looks fine. But i am trying to get the Gradient Knobs and Reapertip said to rename it with .Zip at the end. I did that and it basically just screwed it up. I was able to get everything back to normal very easily but I really want those Gradient Knobs lol.
Thanks! But Why, why did the developers place the "Mute", "Solo", "Trim" and "Route" buttons on the left side of the volume slider in MCP & Master MCP? And they left us no choice where to place these buttons as before...
That theme is nice, however, I'm not a fan of the Default theme or any variations of it. Seems too toyish. I prefer the old more mature-looking pro 'Fusion' theme, however would be nice if it was updated to take advantage of the new stuff White Tie has developed for Reaper.
Instructions are included with the theme, and the install process varies slightly based on your operating system. Take at look at Alejandro's included instructions, it's very detailed and easy to follow
"Theme development: Show theme tweak/configuration window" action to open the panel which houses all theme editable color settings plus there're a few versions on Stash

Thanks again Al! Great work! ❤💯🙏
You guys rule! The best thing about REAPER is the community. Thanks for everything guys. 🍻🏆

please be aware that if you need crashing for maximum emulation, this can be taken care of as well
@@ARE_YOU_SICK_OF_YT_CENSORSHIP 🤣

Cubase user here for 30 years so I can't change :) But I love reapers white tie theme!!!
At first I was thinking, wow, 30 years? Then I remembered I'm almost 50 and I tried Cubase a LONG time ago. Man, the time flies!

Love stock theme just dont always want to work in dark mode
The download no longer works. Whether its from the site or thru the email.
hahaha post credits Theme does make it sound better
how does one install the fonts first?

How can we get light background with stock theme??
"Theme development: Show theme tweak/configuration window" action to open the panel which houses all theme editable color settings
plus there're a few versions on Stash
I hate rounded faders. Looks like the old Digidesign control surface
Kendrick lamar
Why are people still using reaper. Why not cakewalk.
It's good to have choices. Use whatever you like!
