I'm an elderly bassist who turnes the bass in 5ths. This is part of my stroke rehabilitation program. The slow tempo encourages me to persist and the fast tempo offers a goal. Thank you.
I tried learning this, without listening to it, and absolutely failed. Then I listened and practiced to your fast version and sorta got it. When I went for your slow version, it really helped. My intonation is spot on, and the rhythm is really good. Thanks so much, it really helped. I’m almost through the piece.
Thank you Mr Kozlov, I've have played this piece two years ago, but I didn't enyoyed it very much. I have now enyoyed it seeing you playing it. It's is perfectly played and the sound is great!
I would say on average 4-5 years to feel somewhat confident. It doesn’t mean that a cellist can not try to play it after 3 years or that decades of practice would guarantee fine performance....
Cellopedia oh okay itz bc I started beginning of last yr and my teacher gave me this piece early this yr..but I haven’t rlly gone past the first page..(maybe because of no practise)

How long do u think it would take for a beginner until they would be ready to start learning this piece?
