    Maestro Ludwig is more Italian than German when he thinks about music... even though also the composer is German! I like this! 😊

    What does Maestro holding in the right hand at the frog? I can see a yellow band. 😮

      He has been playing with an elastic band for many years. I don't know the reason for sure.

      I read somewhere it was because of an injury. Now he uses bands to hold the bow.

      Some people say it is an sort of an obsession. My teacher said it made him have more control with the bow by having it always to his finger tips

      That is two pieces of foam, ear-plugs to stop possible vibration between the strings. Obviously there was some kind of feedback from this very beautiful and powerful cello. It is an amazing instrument played by a brilliant cellist.
      It is a completely new idea to me.
