The good citizens of Frankfurt are so spoiled to have such an utterly outstanding orchestra in their City.... this orchestra plays with a confidence which is so very audible. Also skill, talent, style - brilliant, and as someone from the UK I can recognize immediately the very "German orchestra" style of their playing. When I am able, I shall go to Frankfurt to hear this superb orchestra. They have a natural affinity with the music of Mozart.
It is interesting that in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony channel, you don't mention any sequence numbers of the pieces (No. 25 here, for example). Is that a Germany thing? For me, I can't identify the piece without the sequence number - can't never remember the KV's!
More likely inspired by minor key works of Haydn, Vanhal and J.C.Bach, given that Beethoven would have been only three years of age when this was written in 1773.
@@hjo4104 You misunderstand - i'm questioning if it is a logical hypothesis to say that 'This one definitely inspired Beethoven' given the date of its composition and performance venue in Salzburg. It seems more likely that the minor key symphonies of composers working in Vienna at the time Beethoven lived in this city, is a more likely scenario of inspiration. it strikes me as more probable that Beethoven may have heard and been influenced by Mozart's G minor Symphony of 1788 (K.550), given that Mozart was planning a series of concerts in Vienna at this latter date.
This symphony wasn't even allowed to be published by Leopold Mozart because he thought it was bad by standards of the classical era and he told his son in a letter that he will be thankful for the ridicule his father protected him from in the future. It's a piece that is completely out of line with the musical style and knowledge of the time. Mozart was a revolutionary and this was an early showing of that fact.

A fantastic oboist, one of the best I have heard, however, as a conductor he leaves a lot to be desired. Too many unnecessary gestures. Sometimes it seems like he is conducting something completely different than it sounds.
World class playing by the horns. Great sound on the natural instruments.
Shouldn't there be four horns?
There are. They're sitting stacked (2 in one row, and 2 in the row behind).@@turquisestones
@@etshinn Oh, I got it. Thank you!

A música é genial, a interpretação belíssima 👏👏👏

Ich will da besuchen.
Excelente!!! Bravo!!! Felicitaciones 🍷

I love the little g-Moll
There are a FEW videos about mozart in this channel. Why is that? So sad...

Very good version 👏👏👏

This one definitely inspired Beethoven ;)
Precisely. A Mozart you have to listen to.

@@MrGs643 No, mambda said that this inspired Beethoven's works later, not that this was inspired by Beethoven.

Musica genial
Love this Amazing ochestra…!!!

Disco-g-minor symphony.
The first movement sounds tube that sucks you into it.

Spielt der Dirigent nicht auch die Oboenkonzerte? Und Fagott? Oder irre ich mich da?
Sie haben recht. Er ist Oboeist von Ruhm - z.B. Haydn Konzert mit dem Norwegian Chamber Orchestra.

A fine Mozart as a "transitional" composer, but still not enough dancing body in the Menuetto
