In fact today (8/21) she past away 3 yrs. ago and is now in heaven. I still miss her so much. Again my profound apologies and tell/show her how much she is loved...many many blessings to you both.
This was an all-inspiring video the way you blended colors and achieving such a soft romantic look with a beautiful transfer - too bad it's retired :( I really love this effect and the brush stroke technique has such a character of its own, plus the addition of the little Color Shaper tool. I have a dresser that was my grandmother's and there are such wonderful inspirations on RUclips, I am overloaded with ideas, but this is one! I was fascinated to learn about the Color Shaper tool, and it's now on my shopping list of "must-haves." Each artist has their own style and technique, and I have fallen in love with this different look and your work. Thank you.
I think it’s one of the less user friendly transfers from a design standpoint. I love it and can see endless possibilities with it but totally get that it’s not for everybody. Don’t forget you can always cut it up and uses the pieces
I think “ my condolences for the lost of your grandma is in order”. I don’t know when she passed but I know what she meant to you. It shows in your expression as well as in your SPECIAL piece. Thinking of you. It cannot be easy ♥️🥲🇨🇦😘🤗♥️

Don’t be discouraged. I’ve had many projects I started and then pushed aside out of frustration. Hang in there and I’m sure it will turn out wonderful.

Grandma is 95 and in assisted living two states and a 9 hour drive away. Unfortunately I painted this piece during the pandemic and my grandma’s facility is closed to visitors. Once they allow visitors again my parents will be able to show her a picture.

Thank you so much. She passed on May 18. She lived a good long life and I know how lucky I am to have had my grandma as long as I did.

Yes I planned the colors. When I use a transfer I plan the colors I am painting with to coordinate with the transfer so the design is cohesive
