Love this so much, I think this shorter format is great. Using shellac and joint compound terms instead of branded terms almost makes it more accessible. Really looking forward to your content in the new year. 🎉🎉
That transfer is gorgeous. I can understand why it's not available for the public. Everybody's painting furniture and using the same transfers and stencils. This way, a serious, professional painter/vendor can create something original. But that transfer is enviable.
YES GIRL!!! SO SO VERY HAPPY FOR YOU! You seem alot more relaxed just doing your thing now, so keep doing what you're doing! I'm not one usually for commenting on your posts (but I do like them & love them loads obviously) but I thought it was probably time to stand behind this amazing woman that is you Brandy & hope that by you reading all the lovely comments that have been left for you will help to build you back up again. Don't be afraid, you are such a talent & those that follow & like your work will carry on doing so 🤷🏼♀️ BTW never really realized you would need to shellac over the stencil, top tip 😉 Sláinte to your good self from Sue in Ireland 💚
Oh, Brandy!! Thank you for taking this leap!! I can really see now, how hamstrung you were in what you could really teach us. This was a video that answered so many questions I have had and now I am ready for my own leap!!! Completely devoted to following you!! Thank you!!!
OH Brandy this is stunning and I so enjoyed this video...this reminds me when I began watching you 2.5 years ago when you were working in your garage alot before the new house....I love how it looks like lace placed on the dresser I am going to send you one of my Damask stencils I did with White Mud tinted with Voodoo Up in Smoke
You can make your own paste for raised stencils by mixing elmers /PVA/craft glue with baby powder. Works a treat - soft enough to spread but really hardwearing.
Absolutely gorgeous!! Thx for the tip re the shellac as a barrier. I’m always worried about reactivating the mud when painting over it. I actually used clear coat on a piece that required a lot of repairs and feared reactivating it. Confession: I actually purchased just two transfers (fr a retailer) when the new release happened, both were your designs and I’m in love with both. So I am glad you released this video bc it helps with an idea as to placement, applying it (because it is so large), etc, Can’t wait to see what’s new for you in 2022!! Happy New Year!
WOW a really pretty piece. I've only just recently started using multi finishes, painting techniques and transfers on the same pieces. I'm not working on furniture at this point. I love how you went back over the raised stencils with the white was.....a small but noticeable difference. I always learn at least one difference making technique from watching you.....BTW you're fun to watch too. Thanks!
This piece is amazing !! I love everything about this piece. A transfer really does make a piece of furniture unique and a one of a kind piece. Thanks Brandy for another great learning video.
Beautiful!! Just beautiful!! Thanks for the tip about sealing the raised stencil with Shelac before adding paint🥰. Should you do that no matter what you use for the raised stencil?
Hi! I love this! I wanted to ask that if I don´t have Shellac spray then what substance I could use after raised stencil if I want to blend my color? Thank you!
@@BrushedbyBrandy That's unfortunate as you created a very beautiful transfer! The dresser is lovely! Always love your work and vision. And, I just want to squish that Ginger girl. She is adorable!
I can no longer support that brand or its products and won't recommend them to my followers, but do leave the videos up to learn from and am offering alternate product options

That's good to hear! Those are things I use, can just say it now 😉
I've been waiting for someone to come out with a Chandelier transfer for so long. Its Beautiful.
This was my design but is not available
@@BrushedbyBrandy its Gorgeous, Brandy.
@@thebrushedboutique9075 thank you!
Just LOVELY!!!! I think I'd have a problem with the BLENDING OF THE PAINTS though.
It's definitely easier on smaller areas and can start with 2 colors just to get a feel
I love that you will be using different products and sharing alternatives. As always your creativity blows me away.
I love that you're expanding our knowledge with different products as well
It's definitely a good thing!
Omg, I love the transfer you’re using so much!!! I hope it becomes available to the public one day! 😍

It reminds me of those times too, much less restricted. Same messy garage 😂

A few people got them before they were pulled, I suspect they'll do something less that upstanding and remove my name now
Amazing result!

It’s gorgeous, thanks so much for showing how to do it. I love the transfer but I understand why it’s not available ❤️
It's too bad how it all went down ❤

I love this transfer, will it ever be available to the public? Happy New Year to you from Murfreesboro Tennessee

You are so talented.
Nicely done!

OMG...love this technique!
Beautiful work as usual
Wish i had the guts to try the same technique 😏
Looks amazing 🥰
Could even pull certain things out and try them one at a time
Beautiful xx
Gorgeous! 🤩 Thanks for all of your sharing of knowledge and expertise. - I’m not finding the transfer links/info?! 🤔 😕
beautiful!

I'm hoping you would be doing more Victorian style.

Thanks so much
Beautiful!! Just beautiful!! Thanks for the tip about sealing the raised stencil with Shelac before adding paint🥰. Should you do that no matter what you use for the raised stencil?
It creates a barrier so it doesn't reactivate with paint. Not all products reactivate like a mud does
I love that!
Very Nice…
Your pieces are stunning, but was shocked that you leave the back unpainted. I feel disappointed, to me it's not finished yet.

Do you have a link for the shellac you used? Also is there any other sealers I can use in replace of the shellac?
So the clear coat didn’t disturb the wax? I’ve been looking for a video that has clear coat over gilding wax and everything says not to do that.
🙆🏻♀️ FEKKING GENIUS!
🙆🏻♀️ Are you even minimally capable of not being so dadgum adorable ?!
Gingerrrrrrrrrrrrr…. 🐾 🐾 👅 💕💕💕!

Love this so much. Love your tutorials and creativity! 💕
Thank you!
Do you have any problems with the raised stencil flaking or breaking off in the future of normal wear and tare
Hi! I love this! I wanted to ask that if I don´t have Shellac spray then what substance I could use after raised stencil if I want to blend my color? Thank you!
A spray acrylic will work, just need to form a barrier
Love dog. You look good. Lost weight? Happy New Year to you and your families!!!
Probably my stress diet, not recommended 🙃
@@BrushedbyBrandy be happy the New Years coming.
Gorgeous as always! Do you feel that paintable wallpaper and the joint compound give similar or very different looks? Thank you!
Yes, could be very similar
I love this stencil! I clicked on your link to purchase it, but didn’t have any luck locating the one you used. Would you please tell me the name?
Three are a variety of damask design stencils, any could work
Hi Brandy. Could you seal with top coat water based rather than shellac? Thank you ❤
Brushing will reactivate the medium
Love the chandelier. Did you make the stencil on the sides of the drawers raised too?
No, just with gilding wax
Since your video, has this transfer become available? What product company is it? It's beautiful
This was my design and will not be available
Why is the transfer not available to the public?
It was my design and do to parting ways with the former brand
That is a beautiful, beautiful transfer!
@@BrushedbyBrandy That's unfortunate as you created a very beautiful transfer! The dresser is lovely! Always love your work and vision. And, I just want to squish that Ginger girl. She is adorable!
I know this has been mentioned before but did you ever think about having your own paint brand?
There are so many small brands out there, it's a crowded sea!
Just beautiful o
Which 3 colors did you use? The link just takes you to the brand page.
River Rock, snow owl, and a mix of the two will get this look
Ok so I am confused by this :( When I click link for product, it doesn't match the product you are using.
