Such a remarkable piece of artwork! Genius for using those silk screen stencils the way you did. I love the whole process. Thank you for sharing your creativity! This takes the "Boho" look to an elegant level.
This piece is so gorgeous. You have to be so proud. That has become a piece that should be passed down to the next generation. When I watch you do your painting techniques, I’m just amazed. Love that piece so much. Great job as usual.
Hi Brandy! Do you think a blend of only palmetto, sage green and midnight sky be good? I want to paint a buffet, and would like to lean more toward green.
How do you remove the transfer if you want to change it? I noticed the arrow transfer on the center, then it was replaced with the stencil. Absolutely gorgeous overall!
Hi Brandy! Watching your video I noticed you used gilding wax for accents on the dresser but then you used mousse for stencils? What is the difference for these products? Could you use one or the other?
I love to watch you blend! You seem to be so easy with it. I’ve watched this video three times already. While I was watching it A question popped in my mind about another video you made a while back. I’m missing two pieces of hardware on a desk. I purchased the Amazing mold putty, mold rubber and cast resin. I understand what I’m supposed to do except how do you get the back of the drawer pole? Am I supposed to make two separate molds?
Absolutely stunning!!!😍😍😍😍😍 the colors are magnificent!!! I think I could watch you all day everyday☺️☺️☺️ I have a piece similar to this and want to re-do it with the Magnolia transfers… only thing is it has a black marble type top… just don’t know what colors to use that will go with the top… it has rusted hinges and some minor damage ( it has been moved a lot) but I’m just a little scared to try it…😕
You said that the gray boss covers the mahogany well. Do you know if this works for cedar as well? I have an antique pure cedar chest I want to paint but have been intimidated thinking it’ll just bleed through whatever I paint it with. Thanks for your help!!
Are used 2 coats of tobacco Road voodoo Gel stain on my top using a small piece of cotton tee shirt to apply. It is solid wood, I sanded it all the way down, but I didn’t put a pre-stain conditioner on first. I have not sealed it yet. It is blotchy I don’t know if there’s anything I can do now. What would you recommend?
You can layer additional coats to get opaque coverage. Sound like it may have been sanded unevenly, nothing added afterwards will change that except getting full coverage with more coats
@@BrushedbyBrandy That one is a beauty. I really like the transfers that are individual pieces rather than a whole unit. When you look online, everybody's piece of start to look the same because it's one big transfer. I like the idea of being able to customize using the individual pieces.

Amazing project, as always ❤️ you are so good 💚❤️
Es precioso cómo todo lo que haces, te veo desde España. Es una lastima que los productos de dixie bell no se vendan en Europa
You can use the find a retailer function on the Dixie Belle website, there are retailers in the EU and UK and most will ship
Pretty
Hi Brandy!
Watching your video I noticed you used gilding wax for accents on the dresser but then you used mousse for stencils? What is the difference for these products? Could you use one or the other?
Wax is oil based and thicker, mousse is water based and thinner so it goes through the mesh in the silk screen then cleans off much easier

A blue like savanna mist or vintage duck egg would be pretty with black marble, could go gray as well
@@BrushedbyBrandy thank you😊😊😊
Awesome
Cool!

Yes, I'd recommend gray boss, excellent coverage

What did you use to paint the handles?
A bit of gold gilding wax after cleaning
