- India was so humbled by Dr. Wayne Dyer's use of #IAmLight in his seminars and she wanted to thank him for bringing a whole new audience to her music. He is one of our generation's great visionaries and she is so inspired by him being moved by "I Am Light".

I was with Wayne in Hana when we first heard a friend play this song of yours at a all night spiritual ceremony. I sent him the song the next day. I miss him so much. He was a close friend of mine and married me and my husband in Maui. India, if you want to go to Hana and be apart of this ceremony let me know.

I am a huge India Arie fan (loved your concert in Austin!), but somehow I had not played "I Am Light" until I heard Wayne Dyer mention it in his video series. I have now listened, been inspired and moved to tears by your song many, many times. I now hear it in my head frequently and I sing it to myself on a daily basis. It nourishes my soul. How serendipity works. During the hardest times of my life YOUR music and Wayne Dyer's books and audios were what almost pulled me through. It deeply touched me and spoke a language that communicated, "You will get through all of this!" I did get through all of it and when I was better I took the trip to Hanah in Maui. Since I was a young girl I wanted to go to Hawaii and listening to Dyer I put it on my vision board and ended up going, only to find out you almost quit music and wrote 10 songs in 10 days in Maui. In 2013 I went to order the release of songbird on-line and Google notified me you would be coming in October to perform in St. Petersburg, FL. I booked front row seats that day and I went alone. In that stage you glowed and I wondered if you ever knew of Wayne Dyer, because you were the lyrical and musical version of all the books I read. You got up on that stage and you simply glowed. Every picture I took that day had an outline of your aura glowing. To hear this is amazing!

In 2018i am just coming across this video. What an amazing song! I followed your career when you first came out . I was so touched by your music ; your sound; the power of your lyrics. I left the music scene behind when it changed from good music to raunchy lyrics. Then searching on the internet for information on Wayne Dyer I found you -again and the lyrics of your beautiful song caused tears to swell in my eyes. I have been through a lot since the hey days when you released your first album. This song reminds me that through it all I Am Light. I am God’s creation not to bear labels that the world gives but to be His brand. Thank you for for making this song. I love this song it is an inspiration and is becoming my mantra because it pulls me out of my sadness and loss about my wife Sue who such a follower of living in and being Light. Well... I almost fell into the charm of Dr. Dyer's "Hocus-Pocus" but something inside of me was whispering: "Listen to your own inner guide. Don't let this 'blind', lost man to become your hero/mentor". Many years later, after meeting more than one of those self-proclaimed, so called "spiritual guides", I understood that message. Dr. Dyer was a genuine seeker but he has never rose up to anything more than that. There was a reason why his personal life became a mess, and he ended up being diagnosed with leukemia (2009 diagnose) and died as a result of the heart attack (the final and official reason of his death as stated by his official publicist, Lindsay McGinty. In this quiet way he (Dr. Dyer) taught me the most powerful lesson of listening to my own guts inner voice and follow its (my own) wisdom"
