Reminds me when I spent the summer with my Uncle Kenny in Missouri. Catfish, frog legs and turtle soup. Then fed all the scraps to his hogs.

She is definitely a beast when it comes to frogging. The crazy thing is that she is scared of those little green pee pee frogs🤣. If one of those jumps on her, she is going clean out the boat. We were amazed watching that gator snack on some fish. Definitely don't see that every day. Thanks buddy! Always good hearing from you! 🐊

We have plenty of bait casters that we use for Redfishing and bass fishing. We just enjoy using the ultralights when fishing around the camp because you catch a variety of fish. Thanks buddy! !

Awesome video! It is amazing how much better steaks are grilled at the camp than at home! I believe you could grill a tennis shoe at camp, and it would be good! Now Tara is a frog catching machine, and she don't look bad doing it! Some jokers have all the luck! I love your videos, keep them coming!
You are right, everything tastes better at the camp. Tara loves being out there on the water fishing, frogging, crabbing, it doesn't matter to her. I do think frogging is up there on her favorite list. Thanks buddy!🐸

Hi my husband and I enjoy watching y"all. We had a camp in Persimmons Pass near Grassy Lake. We loved it , had to get rid of it due to my husband came down with Cancer. He is cancer free now and we go soc a lait fishing and put jug lines out. We have a 21-foot skiff we go fishing in now around Union Oil and Grassy Lake. Where is your camp around?

We like to do the catch and cooks at the camp when we can. Sometimes we don't get a chance to. We gonna do some soon.
The smaller frogs are Green Frogs. The big fattie was a Bull frog. Its always frog'thirty!

it's amazing what you find when you start scrolling through RUclips and this came up and I got addicted to watching it... We lost almost all the big frogs up here in Acadia. Roundup turned them homosexual so they stopped fertilizing the eggs. The woods used to be full of toads too. I’ve seen one in several years. Once, during a sudden and unexpected divorce 🤭… i survived by catching frogs, and as I cooked up the meat, I fished with the guts and graduated back to fish. Always remember how surprised I was at how delicious they are.
Be honest, we haven't been seeing as many frogs as we usually do. Hard to beat those frog legs. Thanks for sharing buddy! 🐸

Thank you so much for the positive words! They are really appreciated. We're so glad that people are getting enjoyment from seeing parts of our simple life in South Louisiana! The boat is a 1848 (18' long, 48" wide) aluminum hull with a 40 horsepower Gator Tail motor. They are made to run in very little water, like in the swamps and marshes around here. As for the houseboat, most people pay leases to the land owners, if you don't own the land where it's docked. We've seen some people just anchor out in the lake, not near any land, also. Use those frog bodies for catfish bait. Pig Patrol TV tried it and it worked great in Texas, I think it was.

Glad you enjoyed it! That land is privately owned. Not by us. We didn't build the houseboat. We bought it and fixed it up. It's still parked where it was when we bought it.

You two know how to live life. Do you have to ask permission to put your cabin there on the water? Do you ever have trouble with somebody breaking into it?
Thanks! All the land around Lake Verret is either privately owned, owned by the government, for Wildlife Management Areas, or big companies. So unless you own the land (most don't) you need to get permission. Most people pay a lease. We have never had any problems with break-ins. Most people have cameras set up around their houseboats, though for just in case 🤣🤣
